According to reports Kim Richards has ditched rehab – again! The embattled former Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star was getting treatment at a fancy-schmancy Malibu program, but fled in the middle of the night! Kim is apparently the Houdini of high-class treatment facilities…
Kim has been in and out of rehab since her April arrest at the Beverly Hills Hotel. She left one facility, then was kicked out of second because she went MIA in a Mexican bender at her daughter Brooke’s May wedding. Kim checked into a third facility when family members cut her off financially and she lost her job with Bravo; but also because she hoped to avoid jail time after being charged with public intoxication, resisting arrest and battery on a cop.

TMZ sources say Kim lasted a full month at her most recent facility, but over the weekend she bolted in the middle of the night, complaining she “wasn’t getting along with the staff, including the doctors.”
The source points to the curious timing of Kim’s disappearance and suggests it is connected to her niece Nicky Hilton‘s wedding to James Rothschild, which took place this weekend in London. Kim did not attend the wedding and rumor has it she was invited despite her behavior at Brooke’s nuptials. Kathy Hilton and Kyle Richards are reportedly, finally, on the same page in regards to dealing with Kim’s behavior and sobriety and have taken Dr. Phil‘s advice about tough love. Although someone needs to get Tough Love on Kyle over her fashions… a pantsuit at Nicky’s wedding?! Lady, no!
Kim is estranged from Brooke and her other daughter Whitney Davis due the disaster in Mexico (both Brooke and Whitney were Nicky’s bridesmaids). According to sources Kim was “doing well” in treatment but as Nicky’s wedding approached and she was left out of family festivities, including bridal showers and other events, she grew increasingly upset. She was with ex-husband Monty Brinson for 4th of July weekend, which was the first inkling of trouble – none of Kim’s children celebrated the weekend with her.
No word on where Kim currently is – she moved out of her LA home a few weeks ago and is said to be in limbo over where she would live following treatment, which she obviously exited early…
Monty has claimed Kim is 38-days sober and doing phenomenal, writing an impassioned instagram post last week proclaiming his love and support of Kim. “Regarding the tabloids with Kim is bull s..t I will only explain a few things. People make mistakes everyone of us including and if you looked in the mirror you would have to say the same,” he proclaimed in the same post. “Kim checked into voluntary because she wanted to help herself, no intervention or told her too. I’m proud of her because she 38 days sober.” Monty gushed about how proud he is of Kim, who, according to him, is re-establishing her acting career.
Kim returns to court this week on July 16th for pre-trial motions related to her arrest. At this point I fear Lindsay Lohan Sr. may never get it together… sadly.
