Look out Osbournes! Keep on keepin’ on, Kardashians! A new family is hoping to take over as the resident ridiculously rich crew which combines elements of both Ozzy’s crazy clan with a musical patriarch and the Kardashian model of being famous for absolutely nothing redeeming.
That’s right, kiddos! Rod Stewart and his bunch are getting their own reality show! The Maggie Mae and Forever Young singer has had quite the career which has spanned decades and resulted in countless hits. His adult children are almost as famous. Son Sean is no stranger to reality television having appeared on the short lived Sons of Hollywood followed by a stint of Celebrity Rehab. He’s even attracted to reality stars having a much hyped May-December romance with former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof. I’m still surprised those two didn’t last.
After Adrienne Maloof's split from Paul Nassif she rebounded with the much younger Sean Stewart. Sean was a guest onBrandi Glanville's podcast this week and she grilled him about everything from dating Adrienne to what their sex life was like. Brandi also touched on her issues with Adrienne and so much more, even sharing that she's going to be working with Make-A-Wish and doesn't believe in A.D.D. She even dishes on Adrienne's attempted take-down of Lisa Vanderpump.
Brandi started off the interview/chat/flirtfest explaining that she reached out to Adrienne to offer her the chance to give her side on anything Sean had to say, but she responded immediately with a firm NO.
Oh Adrienne Maloof, you silly minx! You were one of my favorite ladies on season one of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, despite your glittery hair threads and questionable taste in clothing. You seemed down-to-earth and genuine. Then a little something called "season two" happened…
Adrienne was spotted at Bloomingdale's in Century City to show off her Beverly Hills Gypsy jewelry line. Adrienne mugged it up with her BFFS Bobby Trendy and Daniel DiCriscio. (Daniel is the former friend of Faye Resnickwho dished the dirt to us at the end of last season!). Adrienne's post-divorce boy toy Sean Stewart wasn't in attendance.
I wonder what Faye thinks about Adrienne hanging out with Daniel after he trashed her in the blogs earlier this year?
The ladies of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills seem to be in the tabloids more when they're not filming…although that may be the norm for the entire franchise. They don't want us to forget about them in the off season, that's for sure! After Adrienne Maloof's not-so-dramatic exit, rumors are swirling as to who will step into her hoofs shoes. While Yolonda Foster seamlessly meshed with the original ladies thanks to her lemon fresh attitude and perfect white jeans, there is still room for more drama-loving women who are dripping in diamonds and private jets.
That said, many readers will be happy to learn that one of the originals from Beverly Hills will be downgraded to a "friend" of the housewives. It's being reported that Taylor Armstrong will be returning to the upcoming season in a diminished capacity. While many viewers want her gone completely, there is something to be said for baby steps, right?
My mother always told me that good things happen to good people. When I would complain that the mean girl always seemed to get the dream guy or the amazing job, she would remind me that mean people are often miserable no matter what successes they have. She'd say we should feel bad for those who are so hateful and be thankful to have love in our hearts and not be one of those people. Snarking on reality stars aside, I think it's sound advice…and she was right! Just look at Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!
Brandi Glanville has struggled to get back on her feet after a nasty and public divorce, and she's tried to be as straightforward and honest (if not totally brash) when it comes to her life. Her frankness and sharp tongue have proven to be Brandi's greatest allies as she gets the last laugh on her haters. Likewise, Adrienne Maloof, who had me fooled season one, has channeled her inner mean girl, and it's not very becoming.
Adrienne was reportedly using the relationship as leverage to return for season 4, but producers were disinterested in the idea. That must of been the nail in the coffin for this publicity stunt relationship!
"They've decided to distance themselves and become friends. Nothing bad happened," an Adriennesource tells Us Weekly. "They're still going to hang out as friends, they enjoy each other's company."
