Where there is Brandi Glanville, convoluted drama with a million different stories is always lurking nearby. Most recently there is the constantly changing story about whether or not Brandi was fired (or quit or demoted) from Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills.
Last week Brandi said she was offered a part-time role but opted against it in order focus on the zillion other amazing opportunities dropping in her lap like a Chippendales dancer. Now she tells Australia’s NW Magazine in her column “Brandi Snaps” that she was fired!
“This week has been crazy!” Brandibegins. “I talked to Yolanda Foster and Kim Richards. Lisa Vanderpump actually emailed me. She was like the first to email after I got fired, which was very weird. I was shocked, it was very unexpected.”
This week brings us the return of Teen Mom 2, featuring Jenelle Evans, Kail Lowry, Chelsea Houska, and Leah MesserSimmsCalvert Messer, as well as the series premiere of Million Dollar Listing San Francisco. “The series follows the lives of three ambitious real estate agents, Justin Fichelson, Andrew Greenwell, and Roh Habibi, as they strive to outsell one another in an emerging market filled by young tech millionaires,” shared Bravo. “From the breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge to the highs of the Twin Peaks, these brokers-by-the-bay are listing some of the most expensive and architecturally unique properties in the country. The competition is steep and these agents are always rushing to find their next golden listing and billionaire client.”

Full disclosure, I have started this post umpteen times in the last week, and while I’ve known how I wanted to snark on the forthcoming gossip, I have greatly struggled with the introduction. Truth be told, I am still having a hard time ribbing ol’ T-Rav (never thought I’d say that as he makes it so darn easy!). In my heart, the moment I joke about his social media ineptness (and it’s epic) and don’t mention the tragedy, turmoil, and most magnificently, triumph happening in the great city of Charleston, I have done a disservice to the nine beautiful and inspirational lives lost, the families and community forever changed, and the responsibility we each have–we each OWE–to one another to show support and goodness and love.
Dear readers, I know you come here to unplug from the real world for a few minutes on a lunch break or while waiting in carpool line. I live for it, which is why I am so grateful for the opportunity to blog for this wonderful site! We all need to exchange the struggles and monotony of daily life for the drama, craziness, and five-star entertainment that is “reality” television…ironic, isn’t it? That said, I love it, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. As a sucker for all things Shepstradamus and Cooper Ray, Southern Charm holds a special, ridiculous place in my heart when it comes to recapping. Reading the comments section of any SC post, it’s obvious that so many of you are not just enthralled with the eclectic cast, but you are intrigued and enamored with the beauty of the Holy City. Charleston’s history has always been understandably controversial, but I have been totally transformed over the last few weeks with the realization that it, and we, are learning from our mistakes. Forgive my diatribe, but I couldn’t in good conscience whip up yet another Thomas RavenelFacebook status post without sharing my thoughts on what will continue to weigh heavily on the hearts of so many.
In hands down the worst segue ever…are T-Rav and Kathryn Dennis tying the knot? I’m sorry…I can’t tie my heartstrings to my sense of humor with any sort of appropriate bow!
Yesterday, Bravo announced that Real Housewives of Atlanta season 8 is a go, as if there was any doubt. While the show will move forward without its last remaining original cast member, NeNe Leakes, she’ll no doubt be a big part of the 100th episode special. A big, loud, and obnoxious part.
On Sunday, July 12th, Bravo will air the Real Housewives of Atlanta: 100th Episode Watch What Happens Live Special. “The one-hour special will take a trip down memory lane and relive the series’ most unforgettable and buzziest moments,” announced Bravo. “From shady digs to an array of wigs, Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen pulls back the curtain on one of reality TV’s most-talked about shows and sits down with Housewives past and present to get the scoop on how the series has affected their lives.”
A viewer asks Sonja why she wouldn’t listen to what Bethenny has to say? “I know this group of girls really well and I heard them last season saying I wasn’t focused on my businesses and I was all over the place and now we see I have a collection, I do have a house of fashion, I have jewelry, I have swimwear, I have evening gowns, sportswear. And then they were saying that I was going to lose my house and we see I’m still living in my house. So, you know what I feel about these comments? Exactly the same way. I have professionals who take care of me and they’re not professionals (her co-stars). And just because Bethenny’s just coming back to the group and she’s hearing what the girls are saying after a weekend that went off the rails in Atlantic City, I think it’s a little premature.”
The first question out of the gate was a fan wanting to know if the story out there was true claiming that Heather took her eight year old daughter to get her legs waxed. Is it true and isn’t she worried it’s sending a poor message? Heather blasted, “This came out in Star magazine. First of all it came out on Star.com and Terry and I Tweeted about the fact that it was not a true story and no one fact checked, no one called. They took the story but as I was landing in New York last night, I opened Star magazine and there’s an article there. First of all, my daughter is twelve, not eight. Second of all, it is unconscionable and across the line to take kids and put them in these situations. I’m sorry, they have just really, it’s the lowest of the low and I really do expect a retraction and an apology from Star magazine.”
With so many reality TV shows coming and going lately, we decided to gather up the reality TV listings every week for Sunday through Friday.
TLC is airing 3 HOURS of Kate Gosselin‘s “happiest memories and moments over the past decade” via Kate Plus 8: Kate’s Memorable 30’s on Monday. I have a hard time believing there’s three hours worth of Kate being happy, but I digress. Also this week, Big Brother 17 premieres Wednesday and Thursday. Check out the house and meet the houseguests.

A lot of time was spent on Vicki and Tamra, and the poll was, Vicki and Tamra: forever friends or never again?
When asked if she was bothered when Tamra said Jeana Keough was a good friend to her this year, Vicki said, “It didn’t bother me. Jeana’s definitely always in people’s business, so it was a normal thing for her to be in her business.” Andy called attention to the shade. “It is what it is,” she added. “Jeana was very helpful to Tamra and I was not.”
