Ariana Madix has made it clear that she’s “Team Brittany [Cartwright]” regarding the fallout with her husband, Jax Taylor.
During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the Broadway star said she’s spoken with Brittany following the announcement that she was taking time away from Jax for her well-being. “I just wanted her to know that I love her and support her,” Ariana said. “Being on opposite coasts, it’s difficult, but I told her that if she ever wants to come out to New York, she’s got a place to stay with me.”
“I just love her so much, and she’s only ever been the best. And so, I’m team Brittany. As always.”
What’s going on with Jax and Brittany?
Ariana’s comments arrived weeks after Brittany and Jax announced that they were going through a rough patch in their marriage. The Vanderpump Rules stars (whose new series The Valley premieres on March 19) addressed the speculation on their podcast When Reality Hits.
“Jax and I are taking time apart, and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health,” Brittany revealed.
The news of their potential split was enough for Bravo to pick the cameras back up to capture the aftermath. Many fans wondered if their marital issues were only a ploy to bring viewers to their new series, which will also feature Pump Rules alum Kristen Doute. However, the pair spoke about those rumors during a recent episode and shot them down immediately.
“I think there’s a lot of people out there trying to act that what’s going on between us is a publicity stunt, but no,” Brittany insisted. “I would never uproot my child if it wasn’t for, you know, for the best and for us to try and figure things out between ourselves. It’s not a publicity stunt. I cannot make that clear enough.”
The Valley premieres on Bravo on March 19.
