While her supposed “divorce” from husband Gregg Leakes remains up in the air, Nene Leakes seems more than content with milking the story for all it’s worth.
And why not? After all, Bravo has spent a good portion of the Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s third season focusing on her “divorce” storyline. In a new interview with Access Hollywood, Nene, 42, touches on the divorce drama and had some choice words for her co-star/frenemy Kim Zolciak.
When asked about her current status with Gregg, Nene shared, “Obviously it’s hard, I’ve been with Greg for 14 years. So, its hard, he’s my friend, we have a family, we have a son.”
But don’t you dare think for one second that this marriage might actually have a fighting chance as Nene makes it very clear it could come crashing down at any second. “We’re legally married. We’re in the same home. We’re legally married and that can mean whatever you want it to mean,” she continued. “We’re legally married today, it does not mean I’m [going to be] legally married next week or next month.”
When it came to her costar Kim, Nene didn’t mince her words. “I’m done with Kim. I never have to see her again,” she snapped. “It really doesn’t matter, I’m totally done with Kim, like done.”
Perhaps Nene’s words might have to do with Kim’s comments in her latest Bravo blog. An excerpt is below –
“The next day I called NeNe over to my house for some wine and girl talk. NeNe always keeps me laughing, but it made me furious to hear that, “The jury is still out” as to how my girls will end up when they’re older. Hasn’t her son been to prison? Sorry, Boo, but the JURY HAS SPOKEN! My girls will be fine. “
Moving right along. Nene also appeared on Lopez Tonight during which she revealed she would love to appear on Dancing With The Stars. “Absolutely. They need a black girl like me. They really do,” Nene said. “They need a black girl like me to keep it real on the show.” Nene will be appearing on the next season of Celebrity Apprentice, currently slated to air in March.
