Is Real Housewives of Orange County star Gretchen Rossi hoping for a spin-off show a la Bethenny Frankel?
According to a new report by the Hollywoodnews.com, that answer is yes! Gretchen and boyfriend Slade Smiley, who are rumored to have gotten engaged on the show’s upcoming season, reportedly want a spin-off show to showcase their relationship.
Gretchen joins the likes of Kim Zolciak, who also wanted her own spin-off show following the news that she was pregnant for her NFL beau. But as of now, it seems Bravo is not moving forward with any plans for a Gretchen or Kim spin-off.
Moving right along to the Real Housewives of OC season 6. After Bravo aired a sneak peek of the upcoming season of the Real Housewives of NYC over a week ago, many fans were left wondering what the heck happened to the OC season? Well, fret not as it seems all is well in Bravoland and Bravo is still planning to air to the OC Housewives season 6, but in February and no longer January as tentatively announced last year.
A fan asked Tamra Barney when the show would be airing on her facebook page and Tamra replied today, “I don’t know yet… I hear next month.”
Gretchen also had a similar answer in a recent video interview she posted on her site about the upcoming season – “So we just wrapped season 6 and they’re saying it’s going to air like January/February so we should see how the end result is,” she said. We say February as Bravo typically releases the press photos for the housewives at least a month before their season airs.
So what can we expect from Gretchen on the new season? Well according to Gretchen, she is all about promoting her businesses this time around. “This season for me was all about my businesses, my handbag line that I just launched (the Gretchen Christine Collection) and then I have my make up line (Gretchen Christine Beaute). And it’s really kinda about that and a little bit about my own turmoil of dealing with do I want to be married or not?” said Gretchen.
Interesting, and finally Gretchen posted some holiday photos of she and Slade on her personal site. One of the photos included Slade’s rarely seen older son Gavin, who appeared on the 1st season of the OC Housewives. Alexis Bellino also posted some photos of herself wearing her New Year’s Eve dress on her facebook page. Those photos are below –
