Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak is delivering some unbeweavable news — she recently announced she is “over” drama and her priorities have totally changed in recent months since avoiding NeNe Leakes getting married to Kroy Biermann and having her third child, KJ.
“Having a new baby changes you,” Kim told PEOPLE. “Watching this season, I feel like you can just see how happy I am on my face – I don’t even have to say anything.” And this season Kim is happy to have her life on film, “I’m grateful to have all this captured on camera.”
Kim admits that past seasons were hard to watch due to the non-stop confrontations and drama surrounding her, but now that she is in a different place with a different focus she doesn’t cringe at all. Not even when we see her carting around a couple dozen wigs she treats like children? “I used to cover my eyes sometimes [during my Housewives scenes]. I’d be like, ‘Oh, god,’ ” Kim confesses. “And now, this season … it’s been incredible … I wasn’t involved with the drama.”
“I absolutely have no regrets, but this season is a lot easier for me to watch,” she reveals. “Last year I was caught up in drama and trying to do that bus tour. And it’s hard to watch.”
“You live it, and then six months later, you watch it on TV,” Kim explains of how reality TV works. “So this season, there aren’t any moments where I’m in a position where I’m going to cover my eyes.”
Kim is equally excited about the new year and the premiere of her spin-off, Don’t Be Tardy For The Wedding. So what’s her New Year’s Resolution? “To get more for sleep.” Darn, I was hoping it’d be something along the lines of start more drama or that her wigs would get their own spin-off. At least it’s not to produce another song!
