RHOBH’s Newcomer Marisa Zanuck Dishes On Castmates, Calls Taylor Armstrong “Insecure”

Finally, a new housewife that I'm super excited to see!  I have always held a special place in my heart for the ladies of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.  It's not because I like their personalities more than the women of the other franchises.  I think I'm just enthralled with their amazing lifestyles.  They are head and shoulders above the other housewives when it comes to vacation homes, couture, and bling.  I'm addicted!

What's even more exciting about the RHOBH cast is that the newbies are stirring up more drama than their veteran counterparts.  You have to love when a new addition comes into the situation with guns blazing.  It's awesome.  Having already decided that Yolanda Foster was going to be my dark horse favorite, I am disappointed in myself for not giving more credit to Marisa Zanuck.  As viewers, we haven't been introduced to this firecracker yet, but she's already schooled in working the media.  How can you not respect that?

Marisa, a high end real estate agent, is married to the grandson of the co-founder of 20th Century Fox.  She calls her husband "a very private man" while comparing their relationship to that of Lucille Ball and Dezi Arnez.  While she isn't a stranger to reality television having appeared on Selling LA, she thinks her experience on RHOBH is a totally different ball game.

According to the New York Daily News, Marisa has gotten very close to fellow newcomer Yolanda.  She says, “Girls would be arguing and we’d look at each other and be like, ‘Are you serious?’”

Marisa isn't shy about talking about her co-stars.  Of Lisa Vanderpump, she snarks, “Lisa is very nice…on camera. Let’s just leave it at that.”  Ouch.

She's just as candid about Taylor Armstrong, explaining, “She’s one of those women who needs approval from other women because she’s insecure, [but] to be honest, I don’t think she really likes me either.”

Labeling Brandi Glanville a "girls' girl," she is much kinder when talking about the other women.  “I think [Brandi] says things of course without thinking about them and gets in trouble, but she’s such a nice girl.”

Discussing the high dollar lifestyles of the ladies, Marisa reveals, “Camille [Grammer] and Adrienne [Maloof] probably have the most [money], and they are really cool and down to earth. Taylor is insecure about that, for sure.”  Double ouch.

For her part, Marisa isn't concerned about keeping up with her counterparts.  “I’m hanging out with Daphne Guinness and Eric Clapton and those types of people all the time with my family,” she shares. “It’s not that big of a deal to me.”  Well, well, well.  Name drop much?

While Marisa wants to wait and see how this season plays out before committing to a second, she has learned a valuable lesson.  She explains, “Be careful whose toes you step on today, because they might be connected to the foot that kicks your ass tomorrow!”

She's feisty!  I like her already!
