Everyone returns to Real Housewives of New Jersey with one notable exception: the producers! Melissa Gorga revealed that the show is currently filming and all the ladies have returned, but a couple things are different. Firstly, there have been NO fights.
“So far, so good,” Melissa shared with The Huffington Post. “There are a lot of fun scenes I have taped with my husband and family that I think are going to be hysterical. We are all here. We are all back."
Melissa does confirm the rumor that new women are joining the cast but she's uncertain how involved their roles will be. "There are a few new faces scattered around — I don't know if they are 100 percent housewives. Two new faces, but we are still the same five.”

There's one other new face around the show. Perhaps there was some validity to the widespread rumors that RHONJ producers manipulated their relationship with certain stars on the show to orchestrate "strippergate" at the Posche Fashion Show and frame a certain cast member (not naming any names for liability sake). Subsequent producers were allegedly fired when Bravo/Sirens Media got wind of the blatant set-ups.
Melissa dishes, "We have new producers this time around and I think they do things a little differently."
And after two seasons of lots of fighting and vitriol dominating the show, the new producers are bringing a more positive spirit to the once fun-loving franchise.
"I haven’t seen as many fights go on, which is always good in my book," Melissa adds. "Things are okay with Teresa [Giudice]. Of course they are not fixed, but we are taking baby steps. It’s not true that people won’t film with Teresa. We have all filmed with her, each and every one of us."
WOW! This sounds amazing. Dare say I may have some shred of hope for RHONJ after all.
