Remember when NeNe Leakes challenged Kenya Moore to make a $20,000 donation to the Detroit Public Schools and NeNe would match it? And remember how neither lady ever made such donation?
Guess what – they still haven't! No surprise there.
Dr. Glenda Price, President of the Detroit Public Schools Foundation, informed The Wrap that neither Real Housewives of Atlanta star has written that check! ”To date we have not received any funds from these individuals,” Dr. Price confirmed.

Last week in her interview with Andy Cohen, Kenya denied even remembering her promise to pledge money. “I didn't even recall NeNe making that challenge, but I will match whatever NeNe is saying that she would,” Krayonce promised. Interesting since Kenya is the one who picked Detroit Schools as the recipient!
When The Wrap reached out to Kenya and NeNe's PR reps for a status update on the donations, neither responded. Well, I mean perhaps with their jobs potentially in jeopardy neither lady wants to be too flash with their cash. Or perhaps these were just empty promises made for reunion posturing.
Whatever the case I think the very rich bitch NeNe needs to maker her donation and hopefully that will inspire Kenya to follow through as well. Maybe Kenya can ask her African Prince to pony up the funds on her behalf…
