Kim DePaola hasn’t appeared on this season’s Real Housewives Of New Jersey, because she’s been busy building a Posche empire of destruction with her new boyfriend – and his burgeoning reality TV career!
It turns out when Kim told Poison Gorga she runs with the big the boys, she wasn’t lying – her man is New Jersey’s infamous “King of Con” Thomas Giacomaro! Thomas just got out of prison after serving time for bilking investors out of $73 million dollars! And now he’s ready for the next phase: working on a book, movie deal and television show about his legendary life. “Hundreds of millions of dollars went through my hands,” Thomas bragged. “It makes ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ look like he stole a pocketbook.”

Helping Thomas with his quest to dominate pop culture is his new ladylove Kim D! The two started dating after he was released from prison (Kim’s fiancé passed away a while ago) and she is helping him navigate business deals and build a new empire. Thomas’s book is titled, “The King of Con” being constructed with co-author Natasha Stoynoff.
Thomas‘ fraud scheme, which he describes as, “The Wolf of Wall Street meets Tony Soprano,” is pretty far-reaching in its impressiveness. He even managed to swindle big-name celebs, including novelist Mary Higgins Clark and members of the mob. In comparison to the small-potatoes fraud of say Teresa Giudice, Joe and their $13 million, Thomas got away with hundreds of millions in a pyramid scheme from over 200 investors before the Feds caught on. Thomas’ book details, “How a smooth-talking Jersey boy made and lost billions, baffled the FBI, eluded the mob and lived to tell the crooked tale,” reveals the NY Post.
Thomas‘ career of fraud began in the 70’s when he started working for a trucking company with mafia connections, including chauffeuring around Jimmy Hoffa before he was offed. Is this what Poison’s trash truck company is really about?! He was able to steal millions to funnel into a lavish lifestyle in Saddle River, NJ. “I came from a million-dollar house to a 6-by-8 cell with no maid service,” he says of prison.
Thomas plead guilty to 3 counts mail fraud, conspiracy to commit mail fraud, and money laundering. He served 13 years before being released last month and is ordered to pay $69,291,511 in restitution. Yikes.
Well if this teaches us anything its that A) Kim D and her former sister-in-law Kim Granatell are the real deal and should definitely be on RHONJ!
