If Jules Wainstein was stressing out about needing a nanny when she doesn’t have a job other than filming Real Housewives of New York, I can’t imagine how much she’s freaking out these days. From her husband Michael Wainstein shockingly filing for divorce, to accusing Michael of cheating, to calling the cops on him, these past couple weeks have been very dramatic for Jules – to say the least.
Her life has really unwound and none of it was captured by the Bravo when they filmed the current season of the show. And this might be coming back to get Jules. Sure, she is making the news these days, but she really isn’t doing much on the show and now there are rumors that she might be getting the axe.

Honestly, I don’t blame anyone at Bravo if firing Jules was under consideration. Yes, she is a nice lady, but she is glorified wallpaper in comparison to the other crazy ladies on the show – other than Carole Radziwill whose recent all story lines all involve kittens or puppies. Jules just seems too normal to make this reality TV thing work.
According to some “insider” who spoke to Us Weekly, “Bravo isn’t asking Jules back.” This article quotes the same person for saying “she isn’t resonating with viewers.” Well yeah, I’ve been saying that for a while without any inside information.
However, a Bravo rep said, “That is not accurate — the network hasn’t made any decisions about another season or about casting.” So that’s not a denial, but I’m sure that they are considering letting her go since this shit storm of drama is happening while the cast is off from filming. And since no one really “knows” Jules or is invested in her life, I can’t see viewers tuning in to see her rebuild after divorce.
Jules is just too nice and too normal to be on this show. It would be awful getting dumped by the show after she got dumped by her husband, but I would not be shocked if it happened.
TELL US – DO YOU THINK JULES WILL BE AROUND FOR ANOTHER SEASON? SHOULD SHE GET ANOTHER CHANCE TO BE A REALITY STAR?
