So far this Real Housewives of Potomac season has surpassed my expectations. Sure, those expectations were super low after a boring and repetitive first season, but I’m really getting into this one so I was interested to see what Robyn Dixon and Charrisse Jackson-Jordan would say when they stopped by Watch What Happens Live.
As per usual, Andy Cohen was pushing them with the shady questions and for the most part they were happy to spill the tea when it comes to their costars.

I have a feeling that Ashley Darby annoyed most of the cast with a lot of the comments she’s made during her on-camera interviews. From shitting on everyone’s marriage, to saying that Gizelle Bryant wants to be Monique Samuels because “she has a supportive husband, her youth and multiple homes,” Ashley has given her costars plenty of ammunition to shade her back and blow up her phone with angry messages.
Obviously Gizelle’s enemy Charrisse said, “I wholeheartedly agree with that statement” after Andy quoted Ashley and her theory that Gizelle wishes she was Monique. And of course Gizelle’s BFF Robyn disagreed and said, “No, not at all.”
As per usual, Andy asked Robyn about her non-relationship with ex husband (and current lover?) Juan Dixon and Robyn gave a non-answer about their status. All she said was it’s “the same” and she added “it works.” Does it though? It just seems to be all sorts of confusing to me. Sure, they seem to be killing the co-parenting thing, but the romantic part just seems to be a lot to handle. But I don’t even know any of these people, so my opinion doesn’t really matter.
Awkwardly enough, Andy was going to do a poll asking the audience if Charrisse has actually forgiven Gizelle and Charrisse cut that short by declaring, “Hell no.” And I don’t blame her. Gizelle went out of the way to trash her.
Both Robyn and Charrisse were asked if Gizelle is “threatened by new girls entering the group” which seems like a pretty obvious “yes” to me. Charrisse said, “I’ll let her friend answer that.” Robyn looked pretty uncomfortable and just said, “Oh, come on. Don’t put me on the spot. I think that she likes to pick on them.” Because she is threatened by them. Or she is just desperate for camera time.
Then I got all sorts of confused when a viewer asked, “Did you ever date a fireman? Otherwise, where did Gizelle get that from?” Charrisse answered, “That’s a great question. Let me just say, someone created an account on Twitter- that’s where she got that crap from- to talk about me. I’m flattered, it’s great. I’m married. Thank you. I’m still married.” Andy said exactly what I was thinking when he interjected, “It seems like Robyn is more married than you are.” Which is kind of sad in all honesty. Charrisse clarified, “We are legally still married. We haven’t filed yet. We will be getting a divorce eventually.”Why haven’t they filed though? They are living in separate states. What is holding them back?
Andy asked, “What did you think of Ashley shading all of your marriages in tonight’s episode?” Robyn responded, “Ashley has no room to talk. She’s twelve.” I agree with the first part. Later, Andy just straight up asked them if they thought Ashley’s marriage would last and Robyn replied, “I hope so. I don’t wish bad on anyone, but it doesn’t look good.” Charrisse gave an equally doubtful response : “I wish her well. That’s all I have to say about that.” So that’s a resounding “no.”
After a whole first season of Karen Huger looking down on everyone and preaching that she was the etiquette expert and queen of Potomac, I am interested to see if she will be eating crow after these claims that she is “downsizing” her home. This isn’t the first Real Housewives show that I’ve watched, and more often than not, “downsizing” is code for financial trouble.
The ladies were asked if they really thought Karen was downsizing or if she just need the cash. Charrisse shadily replied, “Downsizing what?” And Robyn just said, “We don’t know what’s going on in Karen’s head.” It looks like we will get more answers about this as the season unfolds and I am so here for that.
