Shannon Beador Accuses Gina Kirschenheiter Of Stirring The Pot

It’s taking a little while for new Real Housewives of Orange County cast members Emily Simpson and Gina Kirschenheiter to make their mark, but they are on their way. Emily threatened to “kill” Kelly Dodd and Gina somehow blamed Shannon Beador for that argument.

Obviously that did not sit well with Shannon and now she’s calling out Gina for stirring the pot. On a personal level, I don’t blame Shannon for being upset, but as a viewer, I’m all for Gina (and whoever else is stirring things up) to breathe some much-needed life into this show.

Shannon discussed the last episode in a Bravo blog post. Before calling out Gina, Shannon did show some compassion for her costar in the wake of her pending divorce. Shannon admitted, “I feel badly that Gina and her husband are separating. It’s always heartbreaking to hear about a marriage and family breaking up. We all go into the process with the best intentions. I am hopeful for Gina and her children’s sake that she and her husband will be amicable.” Considering that they were already living apart and they just adopted a dog together as a family, it seems pretty likely that this will become an amicable split.

Then she addressed the drama in the wake of the Kelly vs. Emily argument. Shannon confessed, “I was very taken aback that Gina was somehow throwing blame on me for the argument between Emily and Kelly at Eddie’s [Judge] birthday party. Kelly was determined to speak to Steve [Lodge] that night and after getting to know her pretty well over the last few years, that means that Kelly was going to speak to Steve no matter what.” There is no stopping Kelly judge when she’s on a mission. How is it Shannon’s fault that Kelly did exactly what she said she was going to do at that party? Oh, that’s right. It’s not.

Shannon maintained, “I did my best to keep Kelly calm so that she could convey her feelings and be heard. I did not ‘send her in.’ Kelly sent herself in.” Yes, she did. Pretty much every Housewife has been guilty of stirring the pot at some point, but this incident was not Shannon’s doing. At all.

Then Shannon added, “But this kind of reminds me of last week where Gina told Emily an inaccurate statement that I was concerned for Emily’s marriage when that was never the case. Spoon meet pot– and Gina is the one stirring you.” Again, I take no issue with this. Stir on, Gina. The show needs it after last year’s beyond boring season.

Shannon teased, “And stay tuned because the pot stirring only continues. Until next week…”
