Brandi Glanville On Emily Simpson’s Marital Woes: “Reality TV Is Not For Marriages”

Apparently, Brandi Glanville is moving on from not being asked to replace Lisa Vanderpump on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills by starting a new YouTube channel in her bedroom.

On the latest edition of Drinking and Tweeting, the former RHOBH pot-stirrer gives her characteristically unfiltered take on The Real Housewives of Orange County and breaks down why so many ‘Wives’ marriages end in divorce — all while wearing a leopard-print nighty, heavily smeared eye makeup and a positively garish trucker hat.

“I understand the Housewives is abusing one husband,” Brandi slurs in the video in reference to the slowly-crumbling marriage between Emily Simpson, whom she calls “this really sweet lawyer with great hair,” and sarcastic Mormon attorney Shane Simpson.

The self-described truth cannon isn’t shy about sharing her opinion on what’s become colloquially known throughout the Bravo universe as the Housewives marriage curse.

“You don’t go on Housewives if you’re in a great relationship,” she stated, “You go on Housewives to get a f—in’ divorce or have your relationship ruined. And you f—in’ know that. There’s very few relationship that are solid on Housewives. Look at every franchise: divorce, divorce, divorce. There’s like two people that are solid — maybe actually just one on each franchise. Reality TV is not for marriages.”

While Brandi may be statistically correct when it comes to the ladies of RHOC (the most longstanding marriage in the franchise remains Tamra Judge and her second husband Eddie, which probably says something), she seems to be forgetting about her former frenemies over in the 90210. After all, every single RHOBH cast member dating all the way back to her unceremonious exit at the end of Season 5 has been in a committed, seemingly happy marriage. Yes, that includes her old nemesis and newly-crowned queen of the former Housewives club LVP.

However, my biggest concern isn’t the rate of failed marriages on Housewives. It’s why Brandi is starting a YouTube channel in the first place? Doesn’t she have a podcast where she could blast her opinions out about the women who are still in front of Bravo’s cameras? Someone please go to her bedroom and take away the video camera…
