Real Housewives Of Dallas Star Kameron Westcott Speaks Out After LeeAnne Locken & Brandi Redmond’s Culturally Insensitive Remarks

Real Housewives of Dallas Season 4 vacillated back and forth from being a total snooze to a total downer with some heavy content. It’s not quite over since the reunion is still playing out, but there’s always some RHOD chatter on social media.

Both fans and cast members have been outraged about LeeAnne Locken’s comments about Kary Brittingham’s Mexican heritage. There’s no doubt that LeeAnne’s remarks will be a focal point of the remaining reunion episodes. Now, in the off-season, a video surfaced of Brandi Redmond seemingly making fun of Asians. Wow, Bethenny, wow. No one expected these headlines on a show that focused around a “poop hat” for all of its first season, yet here we are. Recently, Mrs. Highland Park herself, Kameron Westcott, shared her two cents on her costars’ recent controversies.

Screenshots of Kameron’s Instagram Stories (with a pink background, of course) show us what Kam thinks about all of the recent drama. It’s unclear if she deleted the IG Story or if it simply expired after twenty-four hours. Thank god for screenshots. Let’s dive in!

Anyway, Kameron began, “I was comfortable calling out LeeAnne as a friend for her comments, and I am comfortable calling Brandi out as a friend as well. None of this is ok.” It really isn’t. Not OK at all.

Kameron said what a lot of us have been thinking: “I can’t believe we even have to go over these things in 2020.”

The Nicole Kidman doppelgänger continued, “I will not take part in humiliating anyone, but I have to say that these things will not fly and I am not going to sit and say nothing about it either.”

Ultimately, Kameron concluded, “I hope we can all learn to be accepting and love one another.” That would be the ideal situation, but something tells me that’s much easier said than done. The social media mudslinging seems to escalate day by day. Will this trickle into Real Housewives of Dallas Season 5? Time will tell. And so will tomorrow night’s reunion episode.

TELL US- WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT KAMERON’S COMMENTS? DO YOU THINK BRANDI AND LEEANNE HAVE LEARNED FROM THESE SCANDALS? OR ARE THEY JUST TRYING TO REHABILITATE  THEIR IMAGES WITH APOLOGIES AND DEFLECTIONS?
