Every former Real Housewife claims that she left the show to “pursue other opportunities,” but pretty much none of them ever quit. In fact, many of them are completely unprepared for life without those Bravo paychecks, overcharging for Cameo videos and peddling laxative teas on Instagram to support themselves and pay for heavily discounted Botox injections.
Sure, some of them are smart with their money, but, at this point, financial issues are a staple among the Housewives, especially the former cast members. It’s par for the course, in all honesty.
Take this one with a grain of salt, but Crazy Days and Nights published an interesting blind item about a Real Housewives of Orange County alum. Sure, we don’t know for sure if it’s true or who it’s even about, but usually, the site reveals who they’re talking about months later… indicating that the blind was actually accurate.
Let’s examine this claim: “This former OC Housewife is broke and living off her credit cards and her boyfriend.”
For starters, there are a lot of former Orange County Housewives and there weren’t enough hints in that blind item. But, we can narrow things down a bit by narrowing down the list to the people who have boyfriends. To be clear, we are not making any accusations, but we are just curious about this one and want to know what some reality TV experts (our readers) think about this one. Let’s narrow down the possibilities.

Alexis Bellino is in a serious relationship with a man named Andy Bohn.
Jo de la Rosa confirmed that she “ran out of money” after her time on the show. However, she doesn’t appear to have a boyfriend at the moment.
It’s unclear if Lynne Curtin currently has a man, but she did confirm a new relationship in 2017. And we all remember her getting evicted while she was on the show. Another alum with an unclear romantic status (and financial standing) is Tammy Knickerbocker. Then again, she’s just not-all-thirsty…. unlike her fellow alums.

Meghan Edmonds has a new man…. and some conentious divorce proceedings, which include some heated negotiations for support payments.
Honorable mentions because I’m wondring if the words “boyfriend” and “fiancé” are interchangeable in this scenario are Gretchen Rossi and Vicki Gunvalson. While Vicki is known for her unhinged behavior, she’s always bragged about being financially stable. Plus, it would be pretty shocking if she was living off of Steve Lodge, especially since it actually seems to be the other way around.

But, then we have Gretchen and Slade Smiley, who she notoriously didn’t want to marry because she was scared to acquire his debts. Are Gretchen Christine handbags still a thing? (not that they were ever really a thing). Sure, there are plenty of people who support their families as Instagram influencers, but is Gretchen one of them? And just in case anyone forgot: she nearly lost her home to foreclosure just a couple months ago.
