Real Housewives of Orange County star Gina Kirschenheiter hasnât been lucky in love. When she started appearing on the show, her husband, Matt Kirschenheiter, lived in an apartment three hours away. Gina had never even seen his bachelor pad apartment. RHOC viewers never caught a glimpse of her husband, but now he is set to make his debut during Season 15. Is this really necessary?
In April of 2018, Gina filed for divorce because Matt had an affair. On June 22, 2019, Matt allegedly physically attacked his wife, and he was charged with felony domestic violence. Even more disturbing was the fact that their children were home at the time.
Matt and Gina finalized their divorce, with their marriage ending on December 31, 2019. However, the exes battled each other in court over child support. Finally, in July of 2020, Gina gave up her spousal and child support and took a lump sum payout of $230,000 instead.
Gina found love again with ânerdy-sexyâ boyfriend, Travis Mullen. The couple met through a mutual friend. The duo dated for six months before they moved in together.

Travis has a son and two daughters from previous relationships. Gina shares two sons and a daughter with Matt. âWeâre a modern-day Brady Bunch. Weâre one maid away from having someone to fill out that center square!â Gina joked. Sheâs not wrong!
The blended family is living in a three-bedroom condo that Gina purchased. This condo has become a focal point of RHOC drama so far this season. Braunwyn Windham-Burke criticized the condo as being too small and told Gina that Shannon Beador called the condo âsad.â

Gina retaliated by calling Braunwyn a âsloppy chihuahuaâ at Shannonâs party. I donât mind Ginaâs placeâat least she is living within her means. But girlâthose messy hair extensions have to go!
So, is Gina ready to hang a âjust marriedâ sign in her condo? In an interview with US Weekly, Gina discussed her future plans with Travis. âI could definitely see myself marrying him,â she shared. âFor the kids, maybe it would make it easier for them to understand and feel more comfortable about being like, âThis is my stepdad.â But Iâm also like, âI donât need it.ââ

Gina added, âI feel so good and happy and confident in our relationship. It hasnât been my focus.â It sounds like Gina and Travis arenât planning to expand their brood.
âI donât think the kids thing is in the cards for us. At the beginning of our relationship, we were like, âOh My God, itâd be nice to have a baby together,ââ Gina said. A new baby with six kids would be a lot to juggle.

âAnd then we were like, âWait, we have six kids,â you know? I wouldnât want to ruin the dynamic of that,â the RHOC star stated. âI wouldnât want any of our kids to feel like theyâre being replaced.â
Gina is also mindful of saving some alone time with Travis. âRight now, itâs hard âcause we have six kids, but we also have days when we have no kids. If we have a baby, then we donât have that. So, I donât want to give that up,â Gina explained. ââCause I think itâs really nice that we have that time to work on us.â
