Wow. Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 11 kicked off with a bang. Teresa Giudice and Jackie Goldschneider were cursing each other out right from the beginning. That old adage “two wrongs don’t make a right” very much applies here.
Teresa spread rumors that Evan Goldschneider “messes around at the gym” at Evan’s own birthday party. After Evan offered to set her up with a friend. She had no evidence. She wouldn’t even say who told her this information. Jackie was understandably upset. When they met up to discuss the claims, Jackie compared the cheating claims to Gia Giudice “snorting coke in the bathroom at parties.” She says it’s merely an analogy, but why would she do that? Yes, she wants Teresa to get how she feels, but why put someone else through the same pain? My jaw dropped to the floor when she said that.
Jackie addressed Teresa’s cheating claims during an Us Weekly interview, saying, “She doesn’t even know who told her. I don’t even think anybody told her. I think she pulled it out of her ass.” I concur, to be honest. Why wouldn’t she collect receipts?
Jackie recalled, “I was really caught off-guard. I expect the best from people. I really thought that she was gonna make it right. And then we’d all go to Lake George the next day. And that is not the way it happened. And it really caught me off-guard.”
“I wasn’t starting a rumor about Gia. I was giving an analogy,” Jackie insisted. She elaborated on her reasoning behind the comment, remarking, “I think that like almost everyone will say that that’s an analogy and the truth is that there’s no one else in Teresa’s life that I can make her understand. When you say something about someone you love, whether or not it’s true, it hurts, you know?” Yes, so why do that to Teresa?

When it comes down to it, Jackie declared, “I don’t regret that because if I was saying something nasty about Gia, then I would regret it. But I was giving an analogy, which it was pretty clear to almost everyone.” Girl, no. Again: two wrongs don’t make a right. I get what you were attempting, but it didn’t quite work out. Why didn’t she just make a comparison to the cheating accusations against Teresa from last season? That would have made MUCH MORE sense!
