Below Deck Sailing Yacht

Whew child. No literally, there is a Below Deck Sailing Yacht child among us. Apparently everyone got the memo but the potential father, Jean-Luc Cerza-Lenaux. Yikes.

After watching Dani Soares basically try to procreate on camera with Jean-Luc, it’s a wonder how this summer child 25-year old man is still so confused. Then again, he also didn’t seem to understand how STIs work. (Hot tip: Don’t drop an STI bomb on national TV to a girl you basically just met until you know that’s actually what’s going on. Just an idea.) Pretty much anyone watching this mess is doing so through their fingers by now.

After receiving quite a bit of hate on a previous Instagram post, JL tried to clarify his irresponsibility. In his last post, JL basically said he hadn’t been formally invited by Dani to take a paternity test. This round, Jean-Luc posted a photo of himself as a baby. His caption began, “This is me at 2 months old. Given how tall I am, many have asked my size at birth. I was 10.2 lbs, 20.5 in. long.” Well, okay then.

Jean-Luc continued, “Had no idea my post from yesterday would generate so many different reactions. Since I can’t possibly reply to the more than 1200 comments, here are some answers that should satisfy most…I learned of the baby’s birth, not the pregnancy, on IG.” In case you missed it, though Dani came to the Below Deck Sailing Yacht reunion with a pregnancy belly, JL was unable to make it. In the preview for the reunion, Dani is asked if JL is the father. We were also shown clips of JL being tracked down separately for a one-on-one with Andy Cohen. Let’s hope it’s not all a giant tease.

Anyways, JL’s answers to fan comments and questions were as follows, “Yes, I know paternity test kits are available at drugstores but the goal is for us to take the tests together instead of shipping saliva samples around the world. But yes, there will be one ASAP.” Lmao that is so formal for a dude who slept folded in half for several charters, but alright.

JL added, “No, Australia isn’t open yet or I would have already gone so those of you saying “just go” must not know that. We are truly on different continents so easier said than done.” SO THEN WHY DID YOU ASK FOR AN INVITATION?! Ugh. The mania continued, “Why am I sharing on Insta? Because its the only way I have to set the record straight about me not wanting to be involved if the baby is mine. I absolutely do. It’s also the same platform she blocked me on 12/31.” No one cares, JL. Are you the dad or not? That’s all anyone wants to know. Truly.

He also went for the pensive lewk. He revealed, “Why did I leave comments on when many of them are negative? Because it’s real. Haters gonna hate and everyone is entitled to an opinion no matter how misinformed it may be. Good news is I also received a ton of much needed support.”

Congrats to JL on the support he received from strangers and randos, I guess? The only people who lived with him and knew him for the duration of his season, and entire short-lived relationship with Dani, have some other feelings.

Once again, Colin Macrae let loose saying, “JL, why do you continue to lie through your teeth? Please keep this disgustingly desperate attempt to save face and blame Dani, off of social media. It’s pathetic. We in her circle have seen first hand how you have treated her for the last 9 months. So again, man the fuk up and do what’s right for this poor little girl, AND KEEP IT OFF SOCIAL MEDIA.” Here here!

Sydney Zaruba, who found herself having some relationship drama of her own this season, also had some words to share. She pointed out, “This is a CHILD no longer a reality tv show. Get it off social …?”
