Shannon Beador Real Housewives of Orange County

Shannon Beador Says She’s “Really Good With” Emily Simpson; Denies Being Jealous Of Gina Kirschenheiter’s Friendship With Heather Dubrow

The entire cast of the Real Housewives of Orange County Season 16 premiere was, frankly, upstaged by Heather Dubrow’s house.  It’s isn’t enough that us viewers were teased like hell when Fancy Pants Heather was building her dream home in Season 11. Now it’s time to see the finished product, and it doesn’t disappoint. The house is stunning.  Every detail meticulously attended to, and some nifty innovations as well.  Well worth the wait.

Unfortunately, the entire hour couldn’t just be the returning RHOC star showing off her perfect abode, because Bravo had to deliver some juicy drama.  They don’t waste time on the original Real Housewives show.

Emily Simpson, Gina Kirschenheiter, and Shannon Beador attempted to function as the perfect little trio, but some damning information about one new housewife already created a rift.  Upon determining that Nicole James was indeed the woman that allegedly sued Heather’s husband Terry Dubrow, Shannon went into a tizzy trying to control the information flow.

But Gina went rogue by the end of the episode to spill the tea to Heather.  That honesty seemed to ingratiate Gina to Heather long-term, and the season teaser shows Shannon’s reacting negatively to their deepening friendship.

Despite the drama presented in the trailer, Shannon told Entertainment Tonight that all is well between herself, Emily, and Gina.  But that initial wedge between these ladies will occur early on in the season as the trio are shown arguing at Heather’s season premiere party.  The trailer shows Heather telling Emily and Gina that Shannon warned they were, “not to be trusted.”

“We speak, we’re good.” Shannon told Entertainment Tonight of her current status with her costars.  She continued, “I mean, I’m really good with Emily.  We have a lot of fun together this season so that’s- we have a lot of silly moments, which I think [have] been missing from the show for the last couple of years.  So I think it’s fun to bring that in.”

Shannon revealed that she and Gina are also “good,” despite Gina spilling the lawsuit tea to Heather against Shannon’s wishes.  They managed to move past the drama and even party hard together.  According to the Real for Real founder, “Fun Emily” and “Fun Shannon”grace her with their presence as the season progresses.

It looks like Heather and Gina have a lot of fun together as well this season.  And it seemed to ruffle Shannon’s feathers in the season trailer.  However, she now insists in her interview that any apparent jealousy of Gina’s friendship with Heather is “ludicrous.”

“I’m so busy right now,” Shannon explained, “I am running my company — I have office space now, so I’m away from home — and I literally schedule my day in 15-minute increments, so I don’t have time to be jealous.  I don’t.”
