Below Deck Sailing Yacht Daisy Kelliher

Below Deck Sailing Star Daisy Kelliher Thinks Ashley Marti Was “Intimidated” By Her Relationship With Gary King

Drop the anchor and hoist the sails, Matey. Below Deck Sailing Yacht is back. I’ve been counting down to the premiere episode since the trailer dropped.  It’s time for champagne toasts, five-star meals, and cringe-worthy theme parties. Oh, and messy love triangles between an entire crew filled with highly attractive sailors.

Captain Glenn Shephard is all ready to set sail on the Parsifal III. Returning alongside him are Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher, First Mate Gary King, and Chief Engineer Colin Macrae. Gary knows all about messy love triangles and expects us to believe he’s learned his lesson. Sure Jan.

We’re barely 30 minutes into the first episode and Gary‘s already told Daisy he’ll kiss her in the jacuzzi, has ‘fake’ kissed all over her, and is flirting with third stew Ashley Marti. It doesn’t take much longer than that for Ashley to start asking him to kiss her. And so, it begins. Oy vey.

Ashley‘s already salty that Daisy gave the coveted second stew position to Gabrielle Barragan, so you know this won’t be pretty. Daisy is a self-admitted “unobservant” person. However, that look Ashley gave her could cut glass. Not to mention the rumors that are flying that there is an actual relationship between Gary and Daisy now. No matter how much they deny it.

Daisy spoke to Us Weekly exclusively about the upcoming Below Deck love triangle, explaining that when she kissed Gary, which we have yet to see, she didn’t know about his kiss with Ashley. “Our relationship [between Gary and me] is fine, but Ashley was probably more intimidated by my relationship with Gary than she led on.” Obviously, if they are hanging out at Disneyland together, things are much better than last year. I wonder if Gary stops sneaking out for smoke breaks when the interior needs help. One can dream.

Daisy goes on to explain that, “The difference between me and maybe some of the other girls is I kind of own the kiss. I kind of am vocal about it. Gary and I are heads of department, so it’s easier for us to set our feelings aside. Whereas for the younger crew, they’re a bit more secretive, so I never knew that kiss happened. So, I don’t feel like I’m stepping on toes.”

Wait, “some of the other girls?” Does this mean Gary hooks up with even more crew?

I’m over here channeling Colin and asking how does this happen? How is it always Gary who gets in these situations? I mean, he’s no Austen Kroll, but I still don’t understand it.

TELL US- DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW GARY KEEPS GETTING HIMSELF INVOLVED IN LOVE TRIANGLES? ARE YOU TEAM ASHLEY OR TEAM DAISY? DO YOU THINK GARY AND DAISY ARE ACTUALLY DATING?
