Well, this is a Real Housewives crossover no one saw coming. The word on the street is that The Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant is dating Peter Thomas, Cynthia Bailey’s ex-husband from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Now, just to be clear, this hasn’t been confirmed by either Gizelle or Peter, but when the streets start talking, we listen.
Filming is underway for season 7 of Real Housewives of Potomac, and fans have been scouring social media for clues on what the season will bring. Of course, we want to know if Katie Rost is finally coming back or if messy Mia Thornton will shake things up for a second season. But who would have thought that Peter Thomas would be rumored to make an appearance this season?
As therealhousewiveszone shared on Instagram, Media Take Out reports that Peter has been filming for the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Potomac. According to production sources, Gizelle’s storyline this season will follow their new relationship. They have reportedly already filmed at least five scenes at Peter’s Baltimore Bar One restaurant. Plus, during a cast trip to Miami, Peter’s new Miami Bar One location conveniently got some screentime as well.
If true, this would be a major come-up for Peter. It’s been a while since he’s been on reality TV, and as we previously shared, he owes $450,000 in back taxes for his shuttered Atlanta restaurant. And his Bar One location in Charlotte, North Carolina, also had its fair share of financial problems. So, a little screentime on The Real Housewives of Potomac could go a long way for the embattled businessman.
Sources close to Potomac claim that before RHOP started filming, Gizelle had been spending a lot of time at the Baltimore Bar One, which is how she initially sparked a connection with Peter. Indeed, back in March, Gizelle shared an Instagram picture from Peter’s lounge, where she attended an event for the Maryland gubernatorial race. Buried in the series of photos she shared from the evening, there’s one with her, Robyn Dixon, and Peter, and Peter looks pretty cozy posted up next to Gizelle.
And if this potential relationship weren’t already baffling enough, we’d like to remind you that Gizelle attended Cynthia’s COVID wedding to Mike Hill. So if Gizelle is close to Cynthia, maybe she got her blessing before allegedly getting into this relationship with Peter? We’re going to have to keep our eyes out for more details on this one.
