Camille Lamb Walks Back Diss Against Below Deck Co-Star And Producer Amid Firing Drama

Camille Lamb made an unsolicited appearance on last week’s episode of Below Deck. Lovestruck deckhand Ben Willoughby invited his two-week fling to the cast dinner in the name of finding closure. The whole situation was quite awkward for the rest of the group, especially second stew Alissa Humber.

It smelled of a production setup. Camille’s drama and histrionics make for good reality TV, but were producers taking a risk by bringing her back for the dinner? After all, she did make very public accusations about being plied with alcohol during the confessionals.

Well, no matter. According to Reality Blurb, Camille has recently walked back her comments alleging that her termination was a “set-up.” She railed against the narrative of her firing, i.e. drinking and slacking on the job was not at all her fault.

“I wanted to get on here and just say thank you so much to the Below Deck community, to the Below Deck cast, to the Below Deck producers,” said Camille in an apologetic statement.

“I just don’t want it to ever come across like I’m not grateful and thankful for the opportunity and it was so fun,” she continued. “I really enjoyed everyone I worked with.”

It’s an interesting change of tone. However, we would be more surprised if Camille took personal responsibility for her part in the termination.

Camille continued the statement with a positive outlook. “It didn’t end the way I wanted it to end, but hell it made good TV, so f**k it,” she said.

Perhaps Camille is teasing a comeback? That would be a good reason to ingratiate herself to production again. At the end of the statement, she referenced being “super excited” for the future.

And finally, a heartfelt goodbye, wishing “everyone the best.” She wrote, “But anyways, I just wanted to say thank you to everybody. Best wishes from Camille.”
