Eboni K. Williams Reveals Plans To Be A Single Mother

Eboni K. Williams is joining the ranks of celebrity single mothers. Bravolebrities Kate Chastain and Below Deck Mediterranean alum Jessica More are both creating families solo.

The Real Housewives of New York alum revealed the “life update” in an interview with Access Hollywood. “I am actually pursuing a single motherhood journey,” Eboni said, per Bravo’s The Daily Dish. “I don’t want to jinx myself with sharing too many details, but I’m deep into my process. I have embryos, and I’m looking to transfer later this year,” she added.

And why not? Eboni is highly successful and has the resources and passion for motherhood. “So I’m in it for real,” she said. “Hopefully, God willing, baby coming soon.”

Though Eboni said finding a partner is “not my priority,” she did reveal that she reconnected with someone she dated almost a decade ago. Her dentist “re-introduced” them recently.

“We did reconnect recently, and listen, we’re just getting to know each other,” Eboni explained. “It’s all very chill, very casual, but he is of interest, so we’ll say that.”

The Bet On Black author kept it vague, as she tended to do about her dating life on RHONY. To be fair, Eboni did not go on Real Housewives to be on the typical schedule of drink, date, vacation, rinse & repeat.

“I believe in timing. I believe in the timing of life and love and all of it,” Eboni continued. “I was texting with a good girlfriend this morning, ‘Listen, I’m totally open to it. I’m not gonna force it, and I’m not gonna fight it.’ So there we go,” she added.

Eboni is cautiously optimistic about her reproductive endeavors and reiterated that her current focus is on motherhood. She said that she “just want[s] love.” Eboni continued, “So I would love my baby. I would love to love a man. I would love him to love me back, but where I’m no longer stuck is like, ‘OK, we got to get married in 18 months.’”

Now that the decision has been made, Eboni admits to feeling more at ease with her future. “It’s just that I’ve kind of released [pressure],” she explained. “And I do feel a lot more comfortable now. I feel less stressed and less pressed.”
