More and more “Yikes” coming out of the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 4 scandal. Only a few days after learning that former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville was asked to leave before filming ended, new info is leaking about what caused her departure.
It was initially reported that Brandi was asked to leave after allegedly kissing castmate Caroline Manzo without her consent. The former Real Housewives of New Jersey OG was reportedly uncomfortable with the unwanted attention.
Now Page Six is reporting that it wasn’t just allegations of kissing that transpired. While unconfirmed, a source claimed that Brandi “touched [Caroline’s] breast area and vaginal area” over her clothes. This was after multiple sources accused Brandi of sticking “her tongue down [Caroline’s] throat” during a private house party while filming the series.
Shortly after the incident, it’s alleged that Caroline, Brandi, co-star Alex McCord and another castmate went into the bathroom. There, sources say that Brandi reportedly locked the bathroom door and “pinned Caroline against the wall.” The source added, “She put her hands on Caroline’s breast area and vaginal area.”
Additional sources have noted that the production company, Shed Productions, provided the cast with alcohol. And that Brandi was supposedly intoxicated during the encounter. Those same sources claimed that Alex was the one who realized Caroline was upset and unlocked the door to get her out of the situation.
As for evidence, there apparently is nothing on video given that it happened in the bathroom. However, the cast was mic’d, providing audio of the situation. Crew members allegedly found the audio “disturbing.”
Production sources claim that Caroline asked to talk about the matter on camera. It became clear that she was in distress. The next day, Brandi became aware of Caroline’s feelings and sent her an apology via text message. Caroline was allegedly moved to a hotel the same day.
Following the allegations, Brandi was asked to leave before filming concluded. Caroline returned to the U.S. on January 27, 2023 on her own accord. Attorneys also interviewed cast and crew and the investigation on the matter has already been completed, said a source.
Both Peacock and Shed released a joint statement once the allegations surfaced. It read, “The safety and security of cast and crew while shooting is extremely important and we take all reports seriously. In this situation, production immediately launched a comprehensive review and is taking appropriate action.”
