RHOBH Season 13 Taglines Allegedly Stolen From Fan Account

Were the RHOBH Season 13 taglines stolen from a fan account? Fans were not too impressed when Bravo revealed the new taglines for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13. The taglines often face a great deal of scrutiny, but considering fans have been waiting through several delays for RHOBH Season 13, expectations were high. Now, there have been some wild accusations thrown.

Most felt that Bravo had not delivered on the long wait. For example, Crystal Kung Minkoff’s tagline was met with confusion: “They say wisdom comes with age, but I’m proving otherwise.” The wording made it sound like she was roasting herself — calling herself unwise — though the intention was probably to say she was wise even with youth.

Meanwhile, Garcelle Beauvais and Annemarie Wiley faced criticism for their similar taglines: “I may act for a living, but I never fall for a bad performance,” and “I may put you to sleep for a living, but I always keep one eye open,” respectively. Now, Bravo is facing accusations of plagiarism over these tags.

Were the RHOBH taglines stolen?

On October 25, the same afternoon that Bravo revealed the RHOBH Season 13 taglines, a Redditor, u/RealityTvKing1, noticed something familiar about what had been revealed. “These women didn’t even try!” the user wrote, “They used a fan account’s taglines[diamond emoji, confused face emoji].” Catalogued in the post were four screenshots of four Instagram posts made in June and July this year.

The posts came from @bravobiotch, showcasing “my rhobh tagline ideas,” as the account’s owner wrote. Each screenshot showcased taglines that were similar to if, not word-for-word the same as the taglines Bravo revealed on Wednesday. For example, Dorit Kemsley’s new tagline was verbatim: “Fashion is my language, and I speak it fluently.”

On Reddit, one commenter pointed out that the ladies never write their taglines, so the lack of effort wasn’t on them. However, if these taglines were stolen, that still reflects poorly on Bravo. Curiously, the account @bravobiotch doesn’t seem to exist anymore, though traces remain. For now, Bravo probably remains plausible deniability.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 premieres tonight October 25 at 8/7c on Bravo.
