BravoCon 2023 allowed many fans to see their dream ships front and center as Bravolebrities from across the franchises met up and got to know one another. By that same token, BravoCon can be a playground for stars looking to hook up.
As such, fans probably expected a lot of romantic news from Brynn Whitfield. Her whole thing, on and off Real Housewives of New York, is how flirtatious she is. So, when fans saw a picture of Brynn with Austen Kroll, speculation ran rampant.
Bravo posted the picture of the RHONY and Southern Charm stars to its Instagram. From there, it didn’t take long for the pic to blow up with rumors that the two might be together. Now, Brynn has set the record straight.
Brynn calls Austen “very sweet,” but that’s it
Page Six spoke with Brynn at the Glamour Magazine Women of the Year Gala, asking if there was anything between her and Austen. “Not dating Austen,” she said. Although, she admitted, “He’s very sweet. We’re not filming anymore, so if I can’t stir the pot in New York anymore, I’ve got to stir the pot in Charleston,” she joked.
She added that she plans to stir the pot so much that she might get “carpal tunnel from the stirring!” So, presently, there’s nothing in the cards for Brynn and Austen. Of course, with all the pot-stirring Brynn intends to do, there may be plenty of surprises yet to come. After all, Brynn did admit to a crush on another Southern Charm cast member.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Brynn confessed she thought Shep Rose was a “cutie.” The two were in brief communication with each other after the fact, sending friendly DMs. At BravoCon, Shep joked that Austen was “moving in” on the RHONY star, but Brynn said, “Shephard, that is not true.”
