Fans of Luann de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan loved their comedic exploits in Luann and Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake. Now we are waiting to hear if a second season will be greenlit. It was the perfect summertime show.
Now Sonja and Luann can be seen in Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy. The trailer dropped at BravoCon 2023, and it delivered. The legendary Real Housewives of New York City alums returning to St. Barts include Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Dorinda Medley, Kristen Taekman, and Ramona Singer.
Luann dishes about hookups on RHUGT
“It’s great, because we kind of go back in time,” Luann told Page Six. “The OGs are going back to St. Barts, so it’s kind of a little ‘Scary Island’ meets some pirates.” As we all remember, Luann had some fun with a pirate, Tomas Ribeiro, during Season 5 of RHONY.
Luann didn’t bother to play coy when asked if there were any romantic hookups with a swashbuckling pirate. “Oh, of course,” she said. She didn’t share who hooked up with a pirate. My money is on Luann and Sonja.
Luann revealed that during RHUGT, the cast will “break” the fourth wall. And they will address some rumors that transpired over the years. “It’s a real fun [show]. Of course, drama is involved, but, really, I think more fun than anything and a lot of reminiscing,” Luann explained. “It’s sexy, it’s a sexy show. I think people are going to really love it.”
Luann admitted during BravoCon that she received a call from Tomas while she was busy filming for RHUGT. She said, “He lives in Miami now and he cut his hair short. I would not recognize him if I saw him walking down the street. He wears a suit now … he looks like an investment banker,” Luann added. Well, that is disappointing.
She was asked by moderator Michael Rapaport which Tomas was her favorite. “He looked much better as Johnny Depp,” Luann replied.
In February 2024, Luann’s new cabaret show, “Marry, F–k, Kill,” kicks off in Los Angeles. “The music is personal to me … I take classic music and I turn it on its head and I kind of make it my own,” Luann said. “It’s cabaret meets comedy meets pop culture.” That sounds interesting.
