Jennifer’s offensive words and behaviors started the moment she joined the franchise. But it looks like they reached a fever pitch while filming the latest season of RHONJ. Jennifer and second-season castmate Danielle Cabral got into a physical altercation, allegedly over their hairdresser.
So is Jennifer playing up her villain persona for the cameras? After an incident at BravoCon 2023, it seems as though she is just as terrible in person as she is on the show. During a panel, Jennifer body-shamed a fan. And Bravo Daddy Andy Cohen was forced to address it while talking to Entertainment Tonight.
In case you missed it, Jennifer called a fan “big boy” and a “whale” after a loaded question about why she is living up Teresa Giudice’s, well, you know what. A rude question for sure, but when you are rude, you can expect that same energy. Jennifer then said the fan “wobbled out” after her question. Oof.
Andy asked of the incident, “Has Jennifer apologized or anything?” When it was confirmed by his co-host that she did not apologize, but instead made the situation worse, Andy was nonplussed.
“No! No! Oh, this is very disappointing. I don’t like this. I don’t like this … That’s a fan that paid to be there,” Andy confessed. Despite the criticism, he did go on to note that the fan wasn’t nice either.
Jennifer doubled down
Said Andy, “The way they asked the question, ‘Why are you so far up Teresa’s ass?’ it’s not nice. But it doesn’t deserve making fun of someone’s size. They’re not saying, ‘You’re a horrible person.’ That’s nothing worse than I’ve ever asked.”
He then concluded, “Come on, Jenn. Don’t double down.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey is expected to air on Bravo in early 2024 but no official date has been released.
