If Sutton Stracke meant to garner sympathy from her friends when she revealed a recent medical issue, she certainly didn’t get it. It’s a tough cast on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this season, and the Georgia was certainly in enemy territory at the time.
The Weed Dinner party from hell peaked Episode 7 on Season 13 of the hit reality TV show. Kyle Richards hosted the event for her cast mates, including newbie AnneMarie Wiley, and invited the likes of Faye Resnick to indulge in a weed infused meal.
Of course, it went when Kyle and Sutton spoke of concerns about the former’s well-being and marriage to Mauricio Umansky. Kyle then decided it would be a great diversion tactic to suggest Sutton had an eating disorder. And so it all went down on last week’s episode of the RHOBH.
Sutton was hurt by the reaction at the dinner table
The Georgia native chose to open up about her recent diagnosis during the confrontation. According to Sutton, an esophagus “disorder” has her “choke” when swallowing food, even her own saliva.
“You’re going to tell everybody I don’t eat,” Sutton said to Kyle after she pointed out that her friend was pushing food around her plate.
Kyle replied, “But you don’t.”
In a confessional interview, Sutton explained that her lack of eating was due to a medical condition.
“My esophagus disorder is not something to be made fun of,” Sutton stated. “I can’t eat certain foods. I’ve been down for four days not able to swallow my own saliva. And here’s my friend, making fun of me.”
The dinner table was hardly sympathetic to Sutton as she pleaded her case. Not the least, Kyle who was happy to deflect from her own problems.
“I’m sick of fighting with you,” a desperate Sutton stated before hitting low. “You’ve already lost two sisters, do you want to lose a third?”
Understandably, Kyle was very hurt by the statement and was ready to end the party. “Oh really, go f-ck yourself,” she said.
In an amazing twist of serendipity, Annemarie is a registered nurse anesthetist. The anatomy of the esophagus is her bread and butter. Believe that this conversation will be coming up again, especially since RHOBH newest cast member has seemingly aligned herself with Kyle.
