Everything Monica Garcia Is Accused Of Lying About

Now, this may get me stoned by the Bravoverse, but I like Monica Garcia on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. She is fresh, has the tea on all the ladies, thanks to her connection with Jen Shah, and has breathed a new light into the franchise. Now, with all that being said, I can also understand why some followers think the mother of four is a bit sketchy. Sadly, a few tall tales have tainted Monica’s freshman year as a Real Housewives star.

Monica isn’t letting any of the noise bother her, though. She is still very much picking fights with some of the women and dealing with her mother. From day one, Monica has presented herself as an open book with stories that have included her mother leaving her in Pennsylvania as a child and having one hell of an affair. But now we need to dissect the claims against her and try to get to the bottom of it all.

Exhibit A: The Car Crash

Monica has put great effort into exposing her past, including her mug shot and her affair with her brother-in-law. But fans still aren’t convinced all her stories have been on the up and up. Recently, Reddit user u/Necessary-Canary-781 shared videos of a woman alleging to be Monica’s friend. The friend in the video is Tenesha, and she took to social media to put her supposed friend of four years on blast.

The first claim was that after the two argued, Monica called Tenesha, claiming her daughter was in an accident. Apparently, Monica then called a second time, saying, “‘Don’t be mad. She didn’t get hit by a car. I just knew that was the only way you would talk to me.’” So far, the only car-related incident we know to be true is the fact that Linda, Monica’s mom, did, in fact, take away her daughter’s car as a form of punishment.

Exhibit B: Burner Phones

Tenesha then claimed that Monica owned multiple burner phones, which she used to run numerous social media accounts. The purpose of the burner phone was to apparently be able to create multiple DMs and texts with herself so she could then screenshot and send them to others, essentially backing up her lies.

Exhibit C: No Family in Bermuda

RHOSLC fans were impressed when Monica shared some of her family backstory, noting her mother’s side of the family was from Bermuda, and her grandmother was born there. The cast decided to take their annual trip to the Island of Pink Sands, with a major storyline being that Monica claimed to have family there. However, on the day of the visit, Monica’s family canceled at the last minute, causing her to have a major panic attack. This move left many feeling that Monica may have only had family in Arizona and Massachusetts.

However, while some fans thought it was one big lie, Monica took to her Instagram Story to defend herself, sharing, “Production spoke with my family in Bermuda.” The single siren stated that her production team “Communicated with them, met with them in Bermuda. Went to their homes and visited them. Signed stuff to film for my birthday and everything. So, people claiming I don’t have family there or it was a lie can continue to believe what they wish. It will not change the truth.”

Exhibit D: Monica Could Be Telling the Truth

The biggest hole in the “We Hate Monica” fan club is her alleged friend, Tenesha. It didn’t go unnoticed that Tenesha actually now works for Heather Gay as her stylist. The Bad Mormon author is suing Monica for an unpaid bill she racked up at Beauty Lab + Laser.

Haters could just be coming for Monica because she came in hard to the franchise and shook everything up. If the allegations are true, it will all eventually catch up with her…or not. Bravo stars have a funny way of mucking up the waters and then slithering off.
