Was Jen Shah Offered a Mini-Series by Bravo Before Checking Into Prison?

Jen Shah wasn’t on Season 4 of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City because she’s currently starring in Real Housewives of the Prison Yard in Texas. Her Shahmazing arrest during filming of Season 2 launched RHOSLC into the stratosphere.

The memory of Jen lingered through the show’s latest and legendary final episode of the fourth installment. She even had someone post on her Instagram from jail regarding the black eye she may or may not have given Heather Gay. Now we’ve learned Bravo threw Jen a bone before she reported to the Big House – and apparently she didn’t bite. The U.S. Sun has the scoop.

Bravo, the network that cares …

It really must be nice to work for a company that offers their employees certain benefits. For example, Bravo will generously film Real Housewives who have gone full criminal and award them brief spinoffs to capture their lives before going asunder.

Real Housewives of New Jersey spawned Teresa Checks In back in 2015 while Teresa Giudice was behind bars after defrauding the government. According to Jen, after she sucked money out of innocent people’s wallets, Bravo offered her a little something as well.

Her very busy media rep said, “Bravo did offer Jen a mini-series in January 2023.” Allegedly. We’ll have to see if Andy Cohen co-signs this revelation. To be fair, Jen isn’t the most reliable informant on the scene.

Anysixyearstogo, the limited series would have focused on what Jen was up to prior to checking in to her suite at Bryan Federal Prison Camp. The show would have been produced by Shed Media, the same company that deals with RHOSLC. Cameras “would have followed her day-to-day,” her rep added.

Jen noped out of the situation “due to the exclusivity and misrepresentations clause in her agreement that Andy [Cohen] was adamant in keeping.” Additionally, the network would have had control to “freely edit anything they want in her story.”

Raise your hand if you believe Jen

Why Jen continues to try and bash Andy is beyond me. Also, she’s a known liar so it’s a choice to believe anything she says in the first place.

Andy addressed Jen yesterday on his radio show. “I know she wanted to do a docuseries of her days leading up to jail. She wanted a lot of money and she was still professing her innocence, so it would have been another interview of her sitting across from me, lying to my face, which we got at two reunions from her,” he explained.

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m with Andy on this one. No way was she offered a spinoff and didn’t take it – especially with her massive financial issues. Once again, the FOMO must be getting to Jen.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4 Reunion will begin next Tuesday at 8/7c on Bravo.
