Kathy Hilton Says Paris’ Cloned Dogs ‘Stay Together’ and Act ‘Like Twins’

Kathy Hilton likes to keep it zany, light, and vapid. Despite stints on a couple of reality shows, she’s often averse to discussing serious realities. Whether it was her alleged The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Aspen trip freakout or accepting her daughter Paris Hilton’s abusive boarding school experience on Paris in Love, Kathy’s sometimes hesitant to touch on deeper topics. But, wheee, Paris cloned her lost dog into a new set of twin dogs. Let’s get into it!

Kathy Hilton says Paris’ cloned dogs are “like twins”

One of Paris’ beloved Chihuahuas, Diamond Baby, went missing back in September 2022. Sadly, DB was never recovered. But, PETA pet peeve Paris had saved Diamond Baby’s stem cells from when she was spayed. This allowed for the creation of some exact replicas. She named the twin progenies Diamond and Baby. Very original.

Kathy’s been on the publicity stroll to promote her partnership with Smirnoff ICE. I just – what year is it? And what happened to Kathy’s tequila? While recently talking to Us Weekly, “Little Kathy” gave the update about her twin grandpuppies that all of humanity has been absolutely dying to hear.

Kathy shared, “The two little twins that were cloned, they stay together, they walk together, they kind of huddle and lay into each other like twins.” Consider the Earth shattered.

Just like with her grandson, Phoenix, Diamond and Baby were foisted upon Kathy by surprise during an episode of Paris in Love. Paris introduced the cloned dogs to Kathy, explaining that her husband, Carter Reum, had found a company capable of cloning animals.

While Paris embraced this unconventional coping method, her sister Nicky Hilton Rothschild expressed doubts about cloning pets in a confessional, stating, “Call me old-fashioned, but the way I grew up, we have a pet and we love them, and it passes, and we bury it in the backyard. So, this concept of cloning is a little strange.” Nicky must’ve hogged all of the normal person genes.

Hopefully, Diamond and Baby fare better than the source of their DNA did. But if not, Paris probably harvested some cells from the cloned dogs that came from her original dog so she can clone more dogs if the need arises (it will). Fear not, Kathy will likely keep us abreast of any enthralling dog developments.

You can stream Paris in Love on Peacock.
