Lisa Vanderpump has a word or two regarding her former SUR employees and current Vanderpump Rules Season 11 cast members. VPR is an interesting case of how a reality show can evolve over time.
For one thing, the show’s premise once hinged on the fact that the cast worked for Lisa Vanderpump as servers. Nowadays, they aren’t employed at SUR anymore, and instead, the premise hinges on their interpersonal relationships. And to that point, the show might still be named after Lisa, but it almost feels difficult to call it Lisa’s show.
Sure, her involvement is clear, but the former Housewife isn’t necessarily the show’s center anymore. Still, as the force that brought fans’ favorite stars together, and as a producer, her opinion matters. And she’s got opinions all right.
Lisa reflects on “crazy” VPR Season 10
Lisa recently appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show to discuss everything going on with her. When Kelly asked for a tease regarding the new season of VPR, Lisa said, “It was so complicated, you know? And it kind of blew up out of the stratosphere. I mean, it was just so crazy.”
She continued, saying, “It was a lot of bad behavior – the season before – and we tried to sort it out. But we stopped filming when it was all exposed. So, we need this season – this season feels very different to any other season – to sort it out. And as the kind of matriarch …” Unfortunately, Lisa didn’t get to finish that thought.
She was caught off guard by Daisy Ridley who was seated next to her. Lisa asked why Daisy was staring and the actress said, “I’m just fascinated by everything you do. Like, what don’t you do?” Lisa responded, “Oh, there’s a couple of things. Ask my husband.” Kelly stood up as the audience cheered and laughed.
