Does Annemarie Wiley have anyone left on her side? Well, maybe Andy Cohen after her Watch What Happens Live appearance, but certainly not Tiffany Moon, MD. Even the American Association of Anesthesiologists made their grief public after Annemarie conflated the responsibilities of nurse anesthetists and anesthesiologists.
On WWHL, a fan wrote in to ask for Annemarie’s reaction to the ASA’s callout post. “Initially, I thought it was fake,” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newbie admitted. She went on to explain, “My association, the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology, backs me 100% … There are things like, behind the scenes.”
She continued, “The ASA, they don’t love CRNAs … They don’t love the fact that I’m a CRNA that’s on a reality show. I’m bringing a lot of awareness and a lot of advocacy to CRNAs.” Andy seemed to believe and cosign this explanation, but another Bravolebrity wasn’t going to stand for it. Tiffany Moon took to Instagram.

Twitter user @nosmokenomore (aka, Bye Wig Hello Drama) cataloged the WWHL clip and Tiffany’s response from her IG story. Tiffany wrote, “The ASA doesn’t ‘not love CRNAs’ or care that you’re on a reality show bringing more attention to your profession.”
She went on: “They care when CRNAs misrepresent themselves as physicians or use terminology to intentionally mislead the public to believe that they are anesthesiologists.”
Then, perhaps as a preemptive strategy, she added to her story, “(Don’t make this into a CRNA vs MD thing- I have immense respect for my CRNA colleagues, just not the ones who call themselves anesthesiologists.)”
Man, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is starting to feel a lot more like Grey’s Anatomy (note, I have never seen an episode of Grey’s Anatomy). So, at this point, it’s Annemarie’s word against Tiffany’s as to whether anesthesiologists truly do dislike CRNAs. But there’s little doubt as to which answer fans will likely trust.
