Tom Sandoval Seemingly Believes Scandoval Kept Him From Being a Rock Star

Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval went on tour with his cover band The Most Extras after Scandoval exploded. Sure, his bestie Tom Schwartz had to deal with the fallout at their new business, Schwartz & Sandys. Meanwhile, Sandoval was playing his trumpet and singing about his affair partner, Rachel Leviss, onstage.

Sandoval has admitted that he paid his band to play with him. Isn’t that a giant red flag? If you have to pay your band, maybe you are in the wrong profession. Anyway, he credited music with helping him through the difficult days since Scandoval broke.

Sandoval could have been a rock and roll star

During the most recent episode of Pump Rules, Sandoval went to see Lisa Vanderpump. When she tried to give him advice about being remorseful, he bristled at the criticism. He wanted to just “move on” from the disaster that he created.

“This is my life. I’m not living my rock star dreams,” Sandoval said loudly. “I’m literally grueling. It’s grueling f—ing work.” So, I guess Sandoval blames the scandal for not being a rock god. First of all, to be a rock star you need to not be pitchy. And you need to have more than just covers of songs like “Stacy’s Mom” by Fountains of Wayne. Just saying!

Meanwhile, Sandoval is discovering all the joys of being ghosted by his former friends on VPR. When Schwartz, at Lisa’s prompting, invited everyone to Lake Tahoe, the group shut it down when he said he was going to invite Sandoval. Sandoval managed to have a private discussion outside SUR with Scheana Shay. When she advised him to “humble himself,” Sandoval brought up the fact that Scheana had Rachel’s ex-boyfriend, Nema Vand, on her podcast. And Nema spilled some sexy secrets about Rachel.

At this point, Sandoval hasn’t mended any relationships with his former friends. But blaming Scandoval for stalling your rock and roll career? That is just lame.

You can catch Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules on Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
