Katie Maloney is not a fan of former Vanderpump Rules star Jax Taylor. The OG recently appeared on Andy Cohen‘s late-night show, Watch What Happens Live, to discuss the network’s newest series, The Valley. Further, Kate spoke about Jax and Brittany Cartwright’s current state of affairs, and it’s safe to say she’s Team Brittany.
When Andy asked Katie a fan question about Jax and Brittany’s split, she admitted her relationship with Brittany has been “strained for a while because of Jax.” She later clarified, “I don’t like that man.” Eventually, she explained that despite her awkward interactions with Jax, Katie wants “the best for Brittany.”

Katie’s comments aren’t the first time she’s been critical of Jax. The reality star once claimed Jax was cheating during an earlier season of Vanderpump Rules. During the VPR After Show, Jax responded.
“Katie loves to f*cking just start sh*t,” he said. “That’s what she does. She sits at home, she plays on her, reads something on Reddit or some bullsh*t gossip thing, and then she’ll tell Scheana [Shay] and Lala [Kent] and start the rumor train.”
To be fair, any time there’s a blind item about any of the Pump Rules men cheating, there’s a strong chance it could be true. Brittany shared more about the time Jax’s “infidelity” was shown on camera during an episode of Bravo’s Hot Mic Podcast. The Kentucky native said she felt “so embarrassed” having to “relive” the moments when they discussed his extracurricular activities.
However, it wasn’t painful enough for her to dump him to the side. “It took a lot of work for us to get over that. Seriously a couple years … It took me a long time,” she said. “We decided to work through it for sure,” she explained.
