Finally feeling like home. Erika Jayne had a lot of turmoil in her life the past few years. There’s been symbolic and emotional upheaval, what with her filing for divorce from Tom Girardi in November 2020, and the subsequent massive legal issues that embroiled the disgraced lawyer in the years that followed. And of course, the physical uprooting that took place when the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star had to leave her marital home.
It was a massive adjustment, but it seems that the single life is treating Erika well. And that includes her downsized bungalow, which she is now very comfortable to call home.
After calling it “a landing spot,” Erika is now gushing about her home
The Pretty Mess singer had a hard time settling in at first. During an episode of RHOBH, which aired in August 2021, Erika spoke about the shock of having a house to herself.
“I haven’t lived alone in almost 30 years. It’s really quiet … There’s nothing to do,” she said.
And a year later, Erika was still unsure about the living space that she called “a landing spot” during a conversation with The Daily Dish. “Life will dictate when I need to leave,” she added about her downsized home.
But as time went, the Bravolebrity’s comments become more and more positive. In February, the singer told The Daily Dish how much she has come to appreciate her “adorable” living space.
“I love that it’s a little Spanish bungalow with a cute pool in the back and a cabana,” Erika explained. “It’s just big enough for my dog and myself. And it’s adorable. It’s like a little baby doll house. And I have fun there.”
“I’m still here, and I love my little home,” she added. “I think it’s absolutely adorable. I couldn’t have found a better place to land after leaving Pasadena, and I love the neighborhood I live in.”
It feels like Erika made the right decision.
