Mia Thornton Discusses Separation From Gordon: ‘He Needs a Wig and a Skirt, He’s the Next Housewife’

Mia and Gordon Thornton aren’t in the best place at all. During last night’s finale episode, the Real Housewives of Potomac stars went head-to-head about their marriage after the streets began talking about Mia’s alleged side-piece.

While filming, Gordon, 71, revealed some mega-bombs. Perhaps his most shocking revelation was that Mia once feared one of her children might not be her husband’s. “Gordon, that’s not fair,” she told him during their conversation. “You want fair? Go to a carnival,” he replied.

Mia eventually chatted with Andy Cohen about the explosive moment and shared her thoughts about Gordon’s performance. “I expected Gordon to do exactly what Gordon did,” she began. “He needs a wig and a skirt. He’s the next Housewife — for sure.”

Mia and Gordon’s rocky road to divorce…

Later, during her Watch What Happens Live appearance, Mia said that despite Gordon’s claims that her affair ruined their marriage, his statements are not true.

“Even if Inc wasn’t in the picture, Gordon and I were definitely still on the road to separation,” she said.

The news of their split broke in 2023 when the Bravo star said she and Gordon had been experiencing “ups and downs.”

“At this time, Gordon and I are separated, but my family is my number one priority, and I am committed to doing whatever it takes to make sure we are okay.”

Several months later, Mia blasted Gordon over comments he made about the reality star to TMZ, alleging that she was lying, sneaking around, and “continually [changing] her story about what’s going on and why she’s leaving me.”

Mia, 39, replied to his statements, saying she reached her “breaking point when he publicly decided to shame me.”

“I said, ‘OK, this is not what we’re doing.’ And I filed. Yeah, I did because I’m like, ‘Let’s go ahead and get this clock rolling,’” she added. “I just don’t want to be a part of it.”
