Brittany Cartwright has continued to shoot down rumors that Jax Taylor cheated on her before they lived in separate homes.
While chatting with Andy Cohen on his show, Watch What Happens Live, Brittany revealed that she and her friend did some digging after hearing her husband may have been unfaithful. “I did all of the digging,” she began. Brittany continued, saying Janet Caperna from The Valley helped her. “We made sure that that wasn’t true. Janet dove in and was like, ‘No, no, no — let’s figure everything out.’ So, we already knew that wasn’t true by that point. There’s always rumors about Jax no matter what.”
Brittany was hurt by the accusations she faked her marital problems
Fans couldn’t help but notice Brittany and Jax began revealing the brunt of their marital problems a few weeks before the premiere of their new show.
During their podcast, When Reality Hits, Brittany spoke about moving out of her home with Jax for her well-being. “Jax and I are taking time apart, and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health,” she said. Further, the Vanderpump Rules alum stated she wanted to focus her efforts on parenting her child, Cruz. “I won’t get into too many details right now because this is still very hard to talk about, and I’m taking things one day at a time. I don’t know what the future holds, but right now, my focus is on being the best mom to Cruz.”
On WWHL, Brittany revealed how hurtful the accusations were that she and Jax were faking this stunt for ratings.
“It was so hurtful for me cause I feel I’ve always shown my true character, and I felt like, ‘Why would anybody think I would do that — especially with my son? I would never put him through that for no reason. … Like, that doesn’t make any sense.”
In an earlier post online, Brittany said fans could look at the trailer for their show to see why she and Jax are experiencing trouble. “Actually I’m pretty sure this trailer that we filmed 6 months ago shows exactly WHY I’m where I am right now and it’s NOT a promo for any show, this is my LIFE!!!,” she wrote. “Enough with that!!!!”
