Why Everyone Wants a Piece of Scheana Shay Right Now

Season 1 of Vanderpump Rules introduced a young Scheana Shay with goals of fame. At the time, she was working as a server at SUR, dating Mike Shay, and trying her best to break into the inner sanctum of the WeHo witches. For a long time, it felt like Scheana would never be a part of the popular group of wanna-be actors/models/singers. But she eventually cracked the code and became a part of the main group.

Season 11 is showing Scheana in a whole new light, and personally, I’m blown away. The mother of one has aged and matured. Along with James Kennedy, Scheana has become the voice of reason. Multiple times, she has offered a helping hand to both Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval. The Apples singer is trying to enhance her life and no one is going to fault her for that. So it makes sense that, currently, everyone wants a piece of Ms. Scheana Shay.

Chili’s Commercial

Following in the footsteps of the best boyband before her, aka *NSYNC, Scheana is now a proud spokesperson for Chilli’s. When I first saw the commercial, I almost spat out my Loverboy because the ad was so well done. Katie Maloney nails her comedic timing. While Scheana plays right into her schtick right down to being covered in sequins. Whether you are a fan of Scheana’s antics or not, you can’t deny that she is one of the hardest-working people on the show. She deserves credit for her intense work ethic.

The restaurant made a great choice when hiring Scheana and Katie to announce the switch from vodka to tequila in their famed drink. By partnering with the fan-favorite shows, Scheana is in ever-growing demand. And Chilli’s knows how to pander to its audience. I spent my 20s at a Chilli’s To-Go station, hoping for tips. So, I never thought I’d find myself saying this. But I want to go to Chilli’s for some ribs and an espresso martini.

Lopez vs. Lopez Cameo

NBC viewers were surprised to see Scheana and her husband, Brock Davies, on Lopez vs. Lopez. The episode aired on Apil 23 and showed the reality TV couple starring opposite George Lopez and Mayan Lopez. Scheana played an overzealous PTA parent who was also a brain surgeon. Scheana told The Daily Dish, “This was a dream for me. I’ve always wanted to do sitcom work, and so to be able to do this, especially for a show of someone I’ve been a fan of my whole life — I’ve loved George Lopez — it was a literal dream come true.” Scheana went on to gush “And to get to do it with my husband, my real life and on camera husband, it was so fun.”

Scheana herself knows she is “thriving,” adding, “I’m in my happy place.” In the past, Scheana has also worked on 90210, Victorious, and Jonas. So, there are reasons to believe that Scheana could be putting out some feelers for scripted work. Especially with Vanderpump Rules on hiatus. Could Scheana make the jump from reality to TV to a sitcom? Why not! I can only wonder if she made her famous enchiladas for George and the rest of the cast.

The Uber One✖️Good As Gold Remix has arrived. ⭐️

♬ original sound – Vanderpump Rules

I just about got Good as Gold out of my head. But then Scheana went and did it again by releasing a remix via Uber One. When I am feeling down, I just listen to this bop a couple of times. And it feels better in the world. So while Scheana may have been a butt of jokes for the earlier seasons, she is now laughing all the way to the bank. We have all underestimated Scheana, but I don’t think that will be happening again.

Vanderpump Rules has never been more popular. So Scheana should be capitalizing on the wave every second she can because this type of fandom will only last for so long. Now, if you need me I’ll be writing my next article from a Chilli’s booth.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK SCHEANA SHAY IS KILLING IT, OR ARE YOU TIRED OF SEEING HER EVERYWHERE?
