Kristen Doute Questions Jo Wenberg Living Situation ‘Timeline’

Tom Schwartz’s friend, Jo Wenberg, made her debut on Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules. She was originally friends with Kristen Doute. Jo pissed off Schwartz’s ex-wife, Katie Maloney, in spectacular fashion by reportedly moving in with Schwartz. But both Jo and Schwartz denied that she lived with him except for a couple of days.

Enter Kristen, who is a modern-day Sherlock Holmes in the Pump Rules universe. When Jo tried to explain how she ended up staying with Schwartz, Kristen called “BS” on her story and timeline. Time for Kristen to give us her opinion.

Kristen pokes holes in Jo’s timeline

Kristen shared her thoughts on Balancing Act, her podcast with her man, Luke Broderick. The Valley stars dissected Jo’s remarks during Part 2 of the VPR reunion. “I was in between my house and my apartment. And he was nice enough to let me couch surf in his spare bedroom,” Jo explained. “And I brought my backpack, and I brought my dog, and I stayed there for four days, and moved into my apartment.”

She continued, “I didn’t move in. So, it was during COVID… I remember there were multiple friends of mine that actually did have COVID.” Still, Katie was confused about why Jo didn’t ask to stay with Kristen, who lived “around the corner” from her. In fact, Katie brought up that Kristen was shocked that Jo didn’t ask her. Schwartz responded that Kristen “had a very chaotic living situation going on.” This was news to Kristen.

“The timeline’s bullsh*t. Also, in the reunion, Jo was like, ‘It was during COVID,'” Kristen stated. “No, it wasn’t during COVID… Also, God bless my prettiest, pettiest friend, Zack Wickham, for sending me, amongst other people, sending me this video of Jo doing this podcast, I believe, and it’s this shortened version where she’s now saying that I am the one who told her she should go stay with Schwartz because I had COVID simultaneously while going to a wedding. What in the bananas of all hell is she f*cking talking about?” she remarked.

Then, in June of 2022, Kristen contacted Jo, asking her if she had COVID. The two stayed in contact until mid-June. “Cut to July 20, 2022. This is now three weeks after she had COVID. On July 20, 2022, I said, ‘Wait, wait, you live with Tom? I’m so confused, LOL…'”

Kristen continued, “[Jo] said, ‘No, I don’t live with Tom. I’m staying there on and off until Friday for space until my apartment is ready.’ I said, ‘Why didn’t you tell me?'” Why indeed? This story is confusing and convoluted.

Schwartz blocked Jo from his life

As for Jo and Schwartz? He clearly led her on during their “situationship.” While Schwartz told everyone that they were just friends, behind closed doors they were clearly in a relationship. So not cool, Schwartz. After Jo went public with some texts between herself and Schwartz, he blocked her on social media. “I wish her well but she’s not in my life in any capacity and never will be,” Schwartz stated. Perhaps that is best for all involved.

The Vanderpump Rules Season 11 reunion concludes on Tuesday, May 28, at 8/7c on Bravo.

TELL US – WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT JO’S TIMELINE? IS SOMETHING SUSPICIOUS OFF ABOUT IT? DO YOU THINK THAT SCHWARTZ LED JO ON?
