Let’s be honest. No one really expected Jackie Goldschneider to suddenly be in the good graces of Teresa Giudice. This development caught everyone off guard, including Jackie’s former friends Melissa Gorga and Margaret Josephs. It seems like just yesterday when Jackie and Teresa were screaming at each other over metaphors and cheating rumors. Now, they’re suddenly on the same side of things in Season 14 of Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Blindsided by Jackie
In Episode 5, we saw the moment when Teresa refollowed Jackie on Instagram, signaling the end of their feud and the beginning of a new friendship. Meanwhile, Melissa has been feeling annoyed watching this all unfold. In an interview with People, she explained how the whole thing has left her “shocked” and “disappointed” with Jackie.
“I think the fans are going to see it was very obvious with what Jackie was trying to do here, and it doesn’t come off real or for the right reasons,” Melissa said. “So it’s sad because I was her biggest advocate. I loved her. I said from day one, ‘She’s a strong girl.’ She was next to me all the time.”
According to Melissa, the sudden switch-up from Jackie has essentially ended their friendship. She felt like Jackie’s behavior towards her was because she was redirecting her frustrations with Margaret. Either way, Melissa said we’ll see their relationship deteriorate even further by the end of the season. And since there won’t be a traditional reunion for Season 14, there’s a possibility that we may never see this relationship recover on camera.
“I don’t hate Jackie,” Melissa clarified. “I’m just shocked by her, and I would say disappointed and I can’t believe she chose that route.”
