Report: RHONJ Won’t Undergo ‘Hard Reboot’ Like RHONY

Ever since news broke that Real Housewives of New Jersey was not going to have a reunion, fans have been concerned. The toxic feelings between Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga still emanate from our TV screens. The ladies have not spoken to, nor addressed each other. It is AWKWARD!

This rift has fractured the cast into two units. And after the crazy finale, there was no point sitting down to rehash the season. Yikes! So, what is happening to RHONJ for Season 15? And is the show looking at a complete reboot like Real Housewives of New York?

To reboot, or not to reboot. That is the question.

An insider told US Weekly, “It won’t be a hard reboot like NYC. But likely they’ll get rid of people from both sides because it’s so fractured.” However, this report is alleged and has not been confirmed. As you may recall, RHONY went with a total reboot for Season 14, and the move paid off.

Of course, Andy Cohen weighed on the worrisome situation in the Garden State multiple times. He said that the finale will be a RHONJ “classic.” I could tell from all the broken glass in the previews. Andy added, “The finale is kind of the finale and the reunion all in one.”

He also spoke out on the swirling casting rumors about the Jersey housewives. “There was a bunch of casting news about Jersey that was reported today. None of it is true,” Andy explained. “No decisions have been made. He continued, “So anything you read about what Jersey’s gonna be for next season for the next, I would say six months, is fake, so don’t believe it.” Six months of waiting and rumors? That is cruel and unusual punishment for the RHONJ fans.

Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 airs every Sunday on Bravo at 8/7c.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK THAT RHONJ WILL GET A TOTAL REBOOT? OR JUST FIRE SOME CAST MEMBERS? WHO DO YOU THINK SHOULD STAY?
