The Valley fans have gotten used to seeing Scheana Shay grace the screen occasionally. The Good As Gold singer is friends with several of The Valley cast members. But not all of them, as a recent interview suggested. It turns out that the Vanderpump Rules alum does not have a favorable opinion of Jesse Lally.
The real estate broker is second to none in terms of post-divorce villainous behavior. Except perhaps Jax Taylor. Jesse’s fights with ex-wife Michelle Saniei are tough to watch. And Scheana provided anecdotal evidence of more unfavorable behavior towards the mother of his child.
Scheana Shay isn’t a fan of The Valley’s Jesse Lally
On a recent episode of SiriusXM’s Reality Checked, Scheana told host Kiki Monique about a recent incident between Jesse and Michelle. The Valley fans will recall that Michelle wanted her daughter Isabella to spend more time with her mother, as she was seriously ailing. At the tragic time of her mother’s passing, Michelle asked Jesse to take Isabella early so she could grieve privately.
“Right after she passed away, it was election day and Michelle just really needed one day to grieve,” Scheana recalled. “It was her day with Isabella and she asked Jesse, ‘Look, I know it’s my day, but like I just need a day to grieve by myself. Can you please take your daughter. You know, she just lost her grandma, but can you just take her today?’ And he had an election party to go to in Orange County and said, ‘No.'”
A shocked Kiki responded, “No. Are you serious? Really, an election day party?” And after Scheana clarified that event was “in Orange County,” she further asked if it was “more important. And so he just didn’t take her?”
“No. The amount that I’ve seen her have to deal with, the messages I’ve seen, the emails I’ve seen. I understand why she said, you know, ‘I might have it worse than Brittany.’ Obviously we’ve followed this couple for 10 years on the show. You know, everyone knows how bad Jax is,” Scheana explained.
On a recent episode of The Valley, Michelle questioned her friendship within the group. She felt slighted that Brittany Cartwright got so much support amid her divorce from Jax. Yet Michelle had virtually no one to lean on. And Scheana believed that Michelle is dealing with a lot more dysfunction behind the scenes.
“You don’t know how bad Jesse is because you’re just seeing him put on his, you know, charming face and whatever, but it’s like you just don’t know who he actually is at his core. I’ve seen it and yeah, I don’t like what I see,” Scheana shared.
