Season 2 of The Valley displayed some truly awful behavior from Jax Taylor. He went to rehab, but devoted much of his time to rage texting Brittany Cartwright, his estranged wife. She was not a fan.
While Jax was in rehab, he also spied on Brittany through the security cameras in the house. Not creepy at all! Then he tried to manipulate the rehab staff to convince Brittany and his sister that he was brought to the hospital for possible cardiac issues.
Now, Brittany is weighing in on Jax’s decision to leave The Valley to focus on his mental health.

While most of the cast of The Valley was completely “blindsided” by Jax’s decision, Brittany was not. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen asked Brittany to share her reaction to Jax’s departure.
“I found out the night before. And I was like, that was a great decision by everyone,” Brittany stated. I’m sure that Brittany broke out her cryangle and wept when she heard the news.
However, she also shared that her relationship with Jax is “horrible” right now. She added that there is “no trust whatsoever.” She explained that Jax is still not paying the mortgage or helping with their son, Cruz Cauchi’s expenses. That is concerning, especially since Jax just walked away from his bar partnership. Jax’s reps issued a statement, claiming that the decision was made with his partners “to prioritize his sobriety and mental health.”
Meanwhile, Brittany shared that Jax quit therapy and may not be sober after all. “He’s sober from some things, but not all things,” Brittany stated on WWHL. “I’ll just say that.”
I’m sure that we will hear much more than we want to about Jax and Brittany’s tumultuous split during the upcoming Season 2 reunion of The Valley.
