The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Kim Zolciak, has been battling a nasty divorce from her estranged husband, Kroy Biermann, since 2023. However, Kim is over this mess. Therefore, she is moving on with a new beau. And, following her recent appearance on Bravo, we now know how these two recently met.
And no, Kim is not referring to the never-number-one guy in any group, Jax Taylor. Instead of dating, these equally chaotic reality television stars are just friends, says Jax.

Kim recently appeared on Watch What Happens Live. Having starred on Bravo for years, she and Andy Cohen share a bond (of sorts). So, it made sense that Andy wanted to quickly catch up with Kim. And, of course, one of his first questions involved her dating life, asking specifically if she was currently dating anyone new.
“Yes, finally,” Kim answered, further revealing that she had met her new leading lover “through a friend.” Next, Kim noted that this unnamed (for now) man is “just great.” Then, she referred back to her recent life dramas, which include financial struggles and ever-changing divorce proceedings, to explain that this new chapter is like a breath of fresh air blowing through her wigs.
“You know, I sat in the house and worked and tried to take care of everything for 20 months, and then I finally met someone great.” Likely putting a white refrigerator-sized wedge in this new pairing, her divorce from Kroy is “still in process,” she revealed. She and Kroy are not on solid terms. However, she would “prefer to communicate more regarding the children, but it’s just not there right now.”
