We’re learning more about Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak and her estranged husband, Kroy Biermann, from their kids. Kim’s eldest daughter, Brielle Biermann, recently opened up about her relationship with her parents and how she is handling their divorce and navigating life between the two of them.
Brielle has always been close with her mom. Despite issues with Kim borrowing money from her to pay bills, Brielle always believed her mom did the best she could. The two even appeared in a show together about plastic surgery, Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind. Fans can see they are as close as ever. But what’s Brielle’s relationship with her dad like?

Brielle appeared on Regina Carter’s YouTube show Heir Time and shared her thoughts on several topics. The Don’t Be Tardy alum flashed her gorgeous diamond engagement ring, opened up about her unfortunate lip fillers in 2016, and shared insight into her relationship with her parents during their messy divorce.
It’s no secret that Brielle has been caught in her parents’ drama and even financial troubles in the past. When they had a loud and chaotic fight, she called the police because she feared for their safety. And she even unfollowed Kroy on social media, seemingly taking her mom’s side during their divorce drama.
So where does she stand with her dad today? When asked about her relationship with Kroy, who legally adopted her and her sister in 2013, she replied, “I’d say it’s just like, here and there.”
Brielle explained further that her sister Ariana Biermann perfectly summed it up during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live. Ariana said her relationship with Kroy depends on “what divorce filing he’s filing for that day.”
To be fair, Brielle admitted that it’s hard because Kim is her mom. “You know, my mom’s my mom. And she will alaways be my mom,” she said. “I love Kroy, and Kroy will always be my dad. But I just don’t think I’m seeing eye to eye with him on a lot of things right now. I wouldn’t say our relationship is frayed, it just isn’t what it once was,” she added.
“We’re still decently close, but it’s just not what it once was,” Brielle concluded.
