Who knew that Season 19 of The Real Housewives of Orange County would center on a controversy from Season 4? Tamra Judge’s infamous “naked wasted” party has blasted back to the forefront. And the situation put Katie Ginella and Gretchen Rossi in the hot seat.
According to Katie, Gretchen told her that she went to the hospital after the party. Plus, she had allegedly been drugged. Then Katie brought the story to radio personality Kiki Monique.
Meanwhile, Gretchen denied going to the hospital and insisted that she never told Katie that story. And Gretchen passed her lie detector test, while Katie flunked. But was it even legit?
Gretchen Rossi says she “misspoke” when claiming she went to the hospital after “Naked Wasted”
Recently, Gretchen was a guest on Watch What Happens Live, and host Andy Cohen wanted to know if Gretchen smelled like a hospital after “Naked Wasted.” Andy asked, “Gretchen, once and for all, what happened the night of ‘Naked Wasted?’ Did you go to the hospital? Or did you just think you should have gone to the hospital, and why did you say you did?”
Gretchen responded, “So, having to relive that whole traumatic situation, of a woman trying to get another woman completely ‘naked wasted’ to do something stupid and set you up … And I was just trying to process it all, and I obviously misspoke in that moment.”
She added, “I never went to the hospital, and that is why I said in my interview I never went to the hospital, and why I passed the lie detector test.”
However, when Andy asked why Gretchen stated in the car that she went to the hospital, she replied, “I think it was just a lot of like stuff coming at me at once.”
